Oh give me a break.
Dude's caught up in his moment and Harden was retarded enough to be right up in his space while he's in his moment.
Not saying what Artest did was acceptable, it isn't.

LOL and his last name is wah???????
|
god when they show it in slow mo....ughhhhhhhhhhhhh
|
It sure looks "inadvertent"
|
yeah... in the heat of the moment it's hard to tell, but slow-mo'd like that, Ron was out for some blood...
tsk.. World peace my ass
EDIT* - But then again, you can see Harden trying to get into position by pushing (Ron/Metta?) with two forearms, which was totally unnecessary in itself.
I don't know. I don't condone blatant violence like that, but that kind of shit is just scary when your playing on the floor, not knowing when one of the other players will deck the snot out of you...

I agree with this. People can say that Artest didn't make eye contact with Harden, which gives a reason to say it is an accident. You can't ignore that they made body contact at least. I can't say I'm surprised that this happened though.

I think he needs more than just 1 playoff game. Honestly that could have been a much worse injury. If he concussed Harden there would be havoc.

GG GN Lakers. There's a new sheriff in town.

Got a hunch his suspension hinges on how severe Harden's injury is.

Dammit, Lakers, this is the last time I root for you.

Rofl he was right the fuck up on him and that was clearly intentional. He KNEW harden was right there and the follow through was so damn long as well. Honestly, shit like that needs to be punished HARD. How is that NOT considered assault? Whether or not someone attacks another player like that in a game or out in the real world it shouldn't be considered any less heinous.
And lol at the people trying to blame harden for that. Are you joking? He was coming through for the inbound. Contact like that happens ALL the fucking time when players are trying to get by each other, doesn't mean you're allowed to elbow someone to the fucking head (or anywhere else really).
|
lol... even if he was in the moment he wouldve felt that his elbow hit something
|
It's obvious that he did it because he thought he could make it look inadvertent, but he failed miserably because he's an idiot thug

Harden was preparing for the inbounds pass. Players are always bunched up at the basket in a moment like that. Dont try to defend what he did.

Kevin Love doesn't have the past that Ron Artest does. You can't just treat it like some other NBA player. We are talking about a guy who does this stuff time and time again.
Ron Artest does not belong in the playoffs.

Was that really the shot Durant wanted?

Kobe Bryant seems to think otherwise.

Lakers are very fortunate they traded a bench player for a far superior one after than elbow.
