being fast is great and all, but acceleration is more important in the NBA a lot of times. It's about knowing when to hit that other gear and be able to take advantage of that gap. So speed is great, but it is the change of pace and smarts that makes great players like Parker.

Without Horford, first round fodder.
I love Horford, but I'm in the camp that thinks his value is overestimated. I mean, 15 points and 9 boards per game is not irreplaceable. It's more the work ethic and spirit he brings to the team more than anything.
Has anyone here been watching Wizards vs. Heat? Did D-Wade get injured or did Spoelstra take him out early (he has only played 02:40min)? I know LBJ & Bosh were resting, didn't think they'd let Wade rest too given their bench (if they wanted the #1 seed)

Dislocated a finger I believe, will not return tonight.

Hmm, I guess they're playing it safe, Beaubois just dislocated his finger midway in the 2nd quarter vs. the Bulls, he's back in though!

It just depends on what you are paying him really.
He is a mid-level PF/C and if you pay him a lot thats bad, pay him a little, very good.
The guy obviously has a screw loose. If he wasn't a rich NBA ball player he would be an unconscious killer. Someone who commits crimes and convinces himself it was an accident.
