I'm 1v3 on CT side. T has the bomb down on A, all of them with full buys, one packing an AWP. Bomb is ticking low.

I move around Truck side and smoke off the vision from the pit, noting that the guy with the AWP is in there, he takes a shot as I'm throwing but misses and I just RUN for the site. Jump a box, get into the site, find the bomb. I have a defuse kit but there's no way I can get this in time before they kill me...

...right?

Wrong. Somehow in the confusion they lost where I was, didn't hear the defuse and/or just couldn't get to it in time and thus ninja-defuse right in the middle of three opposing players.

My greatest moment ever. I don't even care that we only drew the match and that I'm pretty sure their top fragger was wallhacking. X-D

It's this "kind" of moments in CS.

Mine was a smoked fake defuse into knifing the last remaining terrorist as he rushed the smoke. And it was on the screens of the Meltdown Paris wooo!

(We got stomped afterwards, but that was completely ok for that round)

The opposing team has an either smurf or hacker because he finished the game with 35+ kills while the others can barely manages to have 10 kills while we are more evenly distributed on mirage and "we.fucking.won".One of the most deserved and satisfying win I had in my short CSGO life.
The question is why people even smurf? Don't come with the idea of playing with your friends. Smurfs basically ruin the game and remove all the fun for the other team no matter what your intention is.

Pretty much this. Sorry if the only way to play with friends is to use a lower account, but that's just how it is if one friend is significantly better than the other, but still want to play with each other.

Quick question regarding the new operation. Each new profile rank takes more xp? So if I play a bunch of MM, am I screwing myself with the weekly drops tied to rankup? (Let's say in August, due to my high profile rank it will take me longer than 1 week to rank up so I miss out on that weeks rank up drop?(

There's no problem with smurfing, because the problem is impossible to fix. It's just going to happen, so learn to live with having a few games with smurfs. It's not THAT rampant from what I've seen. Unless they're LEM playing with silvers it's not that big of a deal. If that is the case, well I'd argue the lowest league players of any game can get dicked by that pretty badly. Happens quite often in League.

You know, I gotta confess, I am DMG but sometimes when I play with my friends I smurf. I keep telling myself that I will handicap myself with either only playing pistols or not going in as point man but that never happens because I hate the fact that I might lose... Or let my friends down. Sorry guys, I smurf ^^

My own smurf reached LEM and carried my mates to LE... now we're playing hackers again yay. Just played with a 10 years old that was obviously gold nova at most but used an aim key to topfrag vs obvious wallers. Great.

...even though I take a break from GO at the moment, I still enjoy checking the profiles of people, that absoluteley wrecked me. Lost 3:16 with randoms against a 5 man-stack on mirage not long ago, while topfragging for my team with 10 kills. I assumed the guys where just GE smurfs (I am supreme and besides one whos profile was private, they all got only CS on their accounts, mostly low hours of playtime and almost no friends) and a very well coordinated 5man-stack.
They wrecked us so hard, even though I am an incredible aimer, I just got wrecked aswell in pretty much all duels. Since mirage is basicly my home, I felt like uninstalling Go after that match.

This weekend I checked their profiles again - all 5 vacced in the same wave. They still could have just played very well since I couldnt really find any obvious proof in the demo, but still. My dignity and self-confidence are saved for now... I also find it funny how somneone getting vacced still suprises me. I guess in my mind vac still is the aprils-fool-anticheat from the past :D.

Hope their main-accounts are vacced too.
