But it's still not as good as 1.3-1.6. One can hope though.

Most of my problems with the game are mostly centered around headshots feeling a little random/too easy and the recoil on a lot of the guns still feeling off. I dunno this could be related to registry but it doesn't seem like it.

I'm not in the beta, but $13.49 for a game and it starts with Counter Strike? Come on now, obviously it's going to be worth $13.49.

Counter-strike 1.6 was like my favorite game of all time. While I hope it lives up to the hype, 14 bucks for CS is always a good investment.

If you want to play CS at all, it's totally worth the price. Furthermore, I assume a lot of people will be playing it around release so you should have friends to play with. If you don't really like CS, definitely don't get it. I haven't played the new patch all that much yet so the drastic changes are kind of jarring. I was all set to preorder pre-patch but now I'm on the fence. Gotta play the beta over the next week and see if I feel more comfortable with the radio commands/voices as well as the models.

So as long as you buy the game before the release date (21th August), you should get access to the beta.
