Cs players more than any other esport actually look like athletes in many cases. And yes, they are also way more social and open with their feelings. Thats one of the reasons why I cant watch LoL or Dota. Its just like little rager kids to me lol.
Could be a combination of how the CS scene is older (about the same age as BW) and the fact that it's a team game so communication is a necessity. Might explain why LoL/Dota players, despite being a team game, are a bit more immature. I don't watch LoL or Dota, so can't really say anything about the scene myself.

Age of the scene is probably pretty relevant, since it's a different group of young gamers who are playing the new games and CS has a lot of older followers. Also the fact that FPS games in general seem to attract a more macho crowd than their RTS cousins. Does anyone else have that impression? Would be interesting to think about why that might be. Anyway, the "athletic macho guy" ideal tends to involve cultivating louder, more expressive modes of social communication, so there you go.

My game crashes a lot too on various occasions, I'm afraid it's just poor coding :< (I'm LEM now weow!)
Let's not forget the role of voice comms. One can theoretically become an SC2 pro without ever having to speak to another person in-game, whereas such a thing is impossible in CS. Consequently, CS players are that much more likely to be able to express themselves verbally. As for their appearance, I really don't think that CS pros look any older than any other game's pros; the CS pros of the past three or four years, with a large number of obvious exceptions, all look like greaseball kids trying to imitate GTR, complete with shitty snapbacks or Nazi coiffed hair. The only reasons people think CS pros, and FPS pros more generally, look older probably have to do with the visibility of folks like Neo and the fact that there are so few prominent Asian players.

If by 'immature' you mean personality wise, the CS community is much more immature and toxic than League/DotA from my experience. HLTV is a toxic bath of prepubescent obscenities.

I think it's the same for both communities. Once there are too many people in one place they get toxic.

No, i just meant everyone is an asshole and you gotta deal with it. How you do that is your problem, i like to be an asshole in return personally. Arguing semantics like "PEOPLE WHO PLAY YOUR GAME ARE MORE TOXIC" when there are a literal handful of people on this planet WHO ARE NOT DICKS in one way or another, is very silly.
It is not semantics when you compare toxicity among communities. It is merely an observation.
Pointless one? Maybe. I don't think so because it is often indicative of trends that should probably be addressed, but if you don't care about such things that's your own right.

Guess you don't like watching any professional team sports either then. The difference between e-sports and sports is that logistically speaking, its easy as fuck to listen in on stuff like this during competition.
since i switched back from m4a1 to m4a4 looks like i've playing worse with this rifle
i'm intrigued by why, i looked at the spray patterns and they look very similar for me, anyone felt that was playing worse after the change?
on my last comp match i got like 15 kills and 10/12 assists, most assists being on the CT side, it is really frustrating not being able to finish some kills sometimes, i guess i need to aim a little higher
also, i feel really bad at comp, most of my enemies don't even buy armor or shit and I still loses because i can't finish them sometimes, i guess i need to train my aim a little more
You need to pull down a bit more with the a4 for the third bullet and subsequent spray; though if you are silver, you should focus on getting good mouse settings, and train your aim so that your initial bullets are aimed at the head directly!
