@That last part, that was me who said you probably belonged at your current rank as previous and current ranks could have been inflation / deflation due to any number of factors. I also said you were probably higher than GN2 (GN4/MG1 is what i said to be precise) anyway.
What you failed to mention, which you did in a previous unrelated post is the fact that you were massively deflating your rank by playing with absolute shitters (aka deranking on purpose). You cant expect the system to work correctly when you fuck with it like that by playing with completely new players and silver rankers.
So sure, you probably are legit DMG. I dont understand why you complained about the ranking system when you purposely fucked with it though.

The rest of your post? You're drunk, go home. (Also extremely rose-tinted and bias but alot of 1.6/sourcers are ) Servers do go to shit sometimes though

Do people really like bazaar? I played a couple of casual games on it and it didnt seem all that good :o Cod-esque to me, i guess it isn't bad though. Season is amazing as always :-) Back alley is really shit tbh, long tight corridors and that fucking rooftop snipernest / balcony SUCKS.

goddamnit. not only did you fucked up CS with this abomination of ADAD which has the audacity to call himself movementsystem, spray and pray, jumpshots, run and gun, you also are to incompetent to keep this rotting corpse that once was a glorious FPS twitching, but fail to completely reanimate it, leaving it with shitty servers, not working push-to-talk, mikrolaggs, awfull tickrate and stupid ranking system.
Sorry for the rant guys, bit I am pissed. I want to like GO, I really do, but it just wont let me. I get it, 1,6 is outdatet but I loved that shit. I played it highly competitive, where in practiceteams of a lot of big clans, even acted as standing at some points, I am no fps-expert, but this is just in no way as enjoyable as 1.6 was. It is a lot better than source, but still fails so hard in comparison to his great ancestor. It just has so many flaws and addition to that, it wont even work sometimes and without the addition of skins I swear it would have died just like source efectively did. And now I just got a 30min ban, because the server lagged out. 6 of the 10 players go DC'ed, I coudltn reconnect, even after restarting GO/steam multiple times. My mate got his ban after being able to reconnect multiple times, just to DC a minute afterwards. Dont know about the other guys, basicly 3 of the opposing team seem to be unaffected, the rest of us was screwed. Just please, give me a CS that lights my fire again and that doesnt requires me to speak polish. I would love to get back on my old form and rock in GO like in 1.6, but it just fails to get me addicted like 1.6 got and therefore I will never get really good.
On a other note: I was right, GO-ranking is flawed, since it only takes into account if you win/draw/lose, not your stat. After deranking to the sphere of gold-nova by playing with 4 total noobs, losing a bunch of games while always getting at least 90 points (which sometimes where double the number of the best enemy player while they where winning) I am no again back to double AK, maybe soon again sherif badge. Rub that in you so called experts that told me I was just pkaced wrong and belong into gold nove while just destroying every game solo. At least I got a "hahahaha you where wrong, suck it" out of this evening.
Oh and I barly rage because of anything, but valve managed it, by disapointing me on so many levels, not that I am not used to it anyways...
lol i placed into LEM on a smurf 2 man queueing with a friend who is badge. If you're good you'll get the rank you deserve.
well bazaar is to me clearly the most competitively viable of this operations' maps after season of course, and already in its current state i'd rather play it than say nuke cbble or overpass

I dont really care about my rank, but if you can derank in a team game, from matches where you just destroy anyone, the system just isnt very good. Just think about it like the result of an teamgame in sc2 affcting your 1v1 rank. Its just not right, but I guess you never where in the situation of almost winnng the game purely by yourself . CS is (should) be all about the external skill provided by your team, besides clutches.
About the drunk part: thank you very much, but I dont drink, period. And I dont say 1.6 is objectively better, but that I liked it way more. What I do say is that 1.6 provided much more ways of "being better" than GO, which cant be denied since Go dumped down so much. I am just frustratet, because it has so many good parts like almost every gun being useful, but on the other side disapointing me so much. Also, the servers seem not to go to shit "sometimes".Almost every game I have those wonderfull moments where I shoot at someone, turn around to shoot someone else and the first opponent dies just a second to late to be connected to my shots fired at him. About 64tick we dont even have to talk. Also, you wanna know how I got to double AK my first time, after switching from surfing/zombiemod to competitive? I just learned the usual holdspots and then abused ADAD to the max by ADAD-peeking an prefiring when going back. It is effective, but feels just horrible cheap to me. Sure, double AK isnt really high, but just by adding a little bit more of gamesense and mapawareness, I delved into sherif badge. After about 200hrs of competitive, I even managed to get to eagle, even though I feel like I was more carryed there by a few mates who started Go earlyer than me but no quit already. While almost only playing with randoms, I managed only to get to sherifbadge for short amounts of time, point is, I never really cared for GO and still got a good way in short time, while mostly abusing above statet "mechanics". I can understand that you might enjoy GO and its mechanics, but I dont and never will, not because of nostalgia, but because of lack of depth. People that complained about bunnyhopping in 1.6 where just people who were unable to do it(not like source, where bhoping really broke the game before they introduced zblock). I dont like that holding an angle almost puts you at an disadvantage and you rather should peek-hold. I also know that 1.6 had its problems, but with it its just like with all the quake-remakes: they improve stuff, but fail to be a better game for me. If you played 1.6 in a sligtly serious way, you would know it has a lot more depth than GO. That doesnt mean you have to like it (more), but It is undenieable. Its like refusing that broodwar is harder to play than sc2 (again, not saying better).
Also, (not directed at you Capped, but rather at SyNc') stop acting like I complain about my rank. I dont care for my rank, I know what I achieved in 1.6 and that I will be a scrub in GO because I cant get myself to like the game enough, even though I wish I could. I know that I am by no far a good GO-player (at least from my standards), I just think it would greatly improve CS if ending up with a shit team wont hurt the individual player to much. Sure, calls cant really be monitored and frags arent everything, but if a player almost wins all the rounds by themself, where the others just die stupidly, you should maybe not derank that guy. I belive it would make the community a little bit less toxic. Since I dont have any friends that can keep up with me in GO and still play it, I either have to play with randoms, or team up with people from lower skillgroups, get deranked and then get bored because I get matched against players that are no match for me. This decreases my own skill, If I dont rank up again by playing with randoms... you see my problem? Next time GO goes on sale I surely will get another account, but thats like having to fix a game you bought by yourself.

It's posts like these that give me false hope and continue wasting money opening cases to get nothing but shitty blues =( so sad. Also blame xkcd too
It's interesting how the fans/subscribers of twitch channels behave like religious sects... Give money, receive fake love from internet personality, feel good about yourself, give money again... wtf is wrong with people.

To be fair, what motivates people to donate to Twitch streams is probably similar to the social conventions that make things like the Humble Bundle and free-to-play Dota 2 possible.

I understand the business model, but the fact that it works is what makes me sad. Intense fanboyism is all fun and games until people ruin themselves doing it. I remember watching Summit's stream and some guy donated $50 putting his total well above $4000 and he said "hey Summit I'm really sorry but this is going to be my last donation for a while, I'm having some financial troubles."

Gee I sure wonder why.
While I can agree for people who are struggling for cash donating is silly, in general I don't see a problem with it and it doesn't make me sad that it works. It's like anything else entertainment wise, if you enjoy it enough that you feel it's worth paying to support them then whatever. I also do think most of the people who get donations (like summit) really do appreciate it as they know if it weren't for that, they wouldn't be able to stream full time. I don't think they take it for granted (well most, I imagine some do).
It's no different then paying for a video game, movie, etc. Of course I will never donate, but I also have better things I need to spend my money on and maybe if I were some super rich guy I might, but I am far from rich .

I mean, people spend their money in unhealthy ways for a variety of reasons. The thing they're spending money on isn't necessarily the root of the problem. And I wouldn't necessarily say that buying skins or donating to your favorite streamer is inherently unhealthy.
On an unrelated note, when did Cloud9 get so good that they crush Mouz 2-0, including a game on Mirage?
