Thats why if you're playing pugs you have to adapt your playstyle and play for yourself while focusing solely on improving your individual skills. Forget playing as a teammate, because no one at that level even knows what that means. Focus on your aim, movement, positioning, crosshair placement. Bait your teammates if you have to. Watch demos of lurkers (get right, hiko, etc) and see what they do, and do that in pugs so you can carry. Its so easy to catch low ranked players off guard if you know what you're doing, basically free frags. For example if its cache and your team wants to rush b, just sit mid and wait for someone to try to flank or rotate vents, then come behind them. You won't get anywhere by following your teammates everywhere and expecting proper teamwork at such low levels. When you get to the higher levels where people actually understand how to play off each other you can focus on that since you will already have the individual mechanics down. | ||

First game someone abandoned pre-match and it started anyway, they surrendered at 4:0 to us. (This should really be fixed it happens all the time, he never even connected.) Second game had a smurf, 45 hours, DMG, destroying everyone, claimed he was GE, actually believe him. he had a couple friends who were probably the same. Only..they were all trolling and using deagle only. Won like 16:4. At this point im like "fuck it, free wins, im out!" Third game my friends play, guy with 10 hours, 2 VAC bans on record, wrecking face all over the shop, they got into warmup and one of my friends was like "He's hacking" instantly lol. They lost like 16-7 and were all super pissed off at this guy who blatantly hacked. (Although i didn't see it) I felt like the Neo of matchmaking. | ||
