Before the weapon skins update, csgo was struggling to even surpass cs source in terms of active users playing at a time. Watching my boy Skyler play under the TL tag would be fucking amazing That would be a horrible pick up; they would not be able to qualify for international events and they can't even qualify for the biggest NA one (esea).

Will I get bashed a lot ingame for beeing bad? Is there kind of matchmaking system to match me against equaly bad players? When I first played match making I didn't get any hate (this is NA server). In general at silver it's either some talking but mainly no talking. The match making does rank you per your skill level. You'll have an occasional game where you get an asshole. The best solution to this is to just mute them. Let your team know in chat you muted him (so that they can call out something).

Sometimes getting totally destroyed by gold nova 3-4 (and unranked guys, but that's to be expected even if it's annoying), sometimes totally rape AK's/double AK's... I don't even know why I keep getting enemies at that caliber since I'm nova 2 atm. and my aim still totally sucks balls. At least I got my sensitivity down to 2/800dpi now. Sweeps are really painful now.

We'll be seeing a banwave pretty soon anyways given that csgo just on sale

Speaking of numbers, has the number of viewers for CS been steadily rising the last couple of months? I haven't followed it closely, but I feel like the numbers are up when I notice it. I assume this is reflected by the amount of people playing? I should start playing more CS. Been playing off and on since like 1.4, still a total scrub, but the game is still so fun :o

Now it's literally double that...really crazy. It went steadily up with each major event. I think the last major (katowice) had something like 250k viewers if i remember correctly? Medium lan events might get a little more than 100k and online cups maybe 50k depending on the days and tournament.

I heard going from DMG to eagle is a pain in the ass, so that explains why so many ppl are ranked DMG.

I was talking about the number of people playing it on steam. I don't remember the viewership numbers as I haven't caught every CSGO tournament this year. Hitting like 400k they said combined though is really insane. Just seems to be growing so much both in players and spectators.
