i would even say that CSGO right now its just around the corner of 1.6 in terms of gameplay

In terms of competetiveness or in terms of game mechanics? Because for the first one I think it's not that far but for the second I think it's not really around the corner.

CS is bigger than ever, turtle rock and valve has donde such an amazing job reviving this game

a year and a half ago, 10k or so players at peakl now we get 150k-200k constant every day

and every time theres a big tournament it goes on sale

i would even say that CSGO right now its just around the corner of 1.6 in terms of gameplay

Yeah, minus the retarded guns, the odd wallbanging and the movement, it's coming pretty close to being as fun. It's sure a super good game on its own already, and the devs really are listening to feedback.

GGs. Was thoroughly entertained throughout the tournament! Was hoping for Fnatic this time around but NiP just played amazingly. Very well deserved!

And I love that the viewership reflects the overabundance of entertainment value. For me it was the only thing coming close to SC2 entertainment wise.

I think about buying the game just for fun. Not that I am a FPS player, but it seems like it might be fun to play after work. Will I get bashed a lot ingame for beeing bad? Is there kind of matchmaking system to match me against equaly bad players?

Damn the tournament was incredible. Glad NiP finally won a major. They deserve it so much

A bit sad of all the hate directed as Fifflaren though. Sure he didn't play well, but he did step up at the right time. I hope this win will motivates him to be better.

He did fine. Different players were top fragging at different points in the tournament while different players were bottom fragging. Fifflaren also made some good plays, some nice entries, and some good awp shots whenever needed. Truly the glue.

Haters will always be there but as someone who wasn't very good (silver 3 last time I played competitive) there will be less of them as long as you don't stack with people of widely different skill. And yes there is an MM system.

In casual, almost no one cares about skill.

Yeah, he's definitely the one that glues NiP together. Without Fifflaren NiP will never be the same. It's like Liquid without HerO and Taeja. I hope Forest and co will keep on playing together for as long as possible, and I'll always support them, especially Fiffy

This was sooo awesome. It's strange but it seems I've transitioned again, it started with BW then SC2, Dota2 and now CS:GO.

The question is, how will the CS portal of TL look like and more importantly: how soon?!

There are lots of game modes where you can practice and have fun without anybody caring about you (aim maps, deathmatches, casual, etc). Play those before stepping onto the ladder to learn the game and be as bad as you want with zero pressure

Ez skins ez lyfe. Got all my bets after the quarters correct so I ended up making up for some losses on my quarters picks.

Yay for NiP. And awesome for both ldlc and fnatic. I knew both of these teams were finals/top 4 material.

CS makes alot more sense for TL to branch into (if they can get a GOOD team) then hearthstone or smash did to me.
