Yeah that's happened to me and my mates a few times when we're well ahead. There should be an option to choose if you wanna kick someone or not.

Remember that then 2 guys could grief the other 3 by shooting them and then voting no in the automatic votes. It's a complex issue.

Not very complex. Don't shoot your teammates.
hurr.
|
nonononon they point is someone shoots you and if he has a premade then you can't kick him, so that's why the auto-kick is necessary, even if it sometimes kicks you for just messing around like these guys with negevs.

only let the person who gets shot/killed choose whether to boot or not.

No, that's just retarded and an unnecessary implementation. You're playing competitive mode, it doesn't matter who you play with. Point is simple, don't shoot your teammates. Or at least know enough of how the system works, that you don't do end up getting yourself kicked. If you do get kicked, you laugh about it. Not cry that it ruined your night. 2 hr ban also implies it wasn't the first time that week you're banned. First ban is only 30 minutes.

Mine did that a week ago. You can try recovering the file from your virus vault, just try to find out where it's restored to. I had to just do a complete uninstall /reinstall. Very annoying.
Do you use avg by NY chance?

Does Cyborgmatt ever sleep? I wonder how ha can keep up and make huge update posts for both Dota2 and CS:GO?
Anyway, Valve revealed some statistics for Cache. I find statistic like these interesting.

I don't know wether any of you are interested in something like this, but I thought I'd share it anyway.
I'm trying to learn more java, and after trying my hand at trading/betting skins at csgolounge.com I felt that something to simplify getting the worth of items(and therefore whole bets/trades) was needed. So I made this little java program.
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/tozidaxpgjwuy9y/7FuwyxxAL8 (only the .jar file is needed, just download and run from anywhere. Only java and an internet connection should be required to run it.)
What it basically does it gives you an option to choose a weapon (ex. AK-47), type in a skin name(ex. Blue Laminate), choose a quality(ex. Field-Tested), and has you choose whether it's a StatTrak/Souvenir or not and then from the press of a button grabs and displays the price from steamcompanion.com(which is market prices) as well as converts it into Euros and Pounds using current currency-values from "www.bloomberg.com/markets/currencies/". Also works with weapon cases, stickers and sticker capsules.
It then gives you the option to add the current fetched skin's worth to a total, and grab new ones and add to the total if you want.
Here's a screen shot to give you an idea: + Show Spoiler +
If you just wanna take a look at the code I made pastebins of the two classes(old version, new pastebins can be found if you click the dropbox link): http://pastebin.com/e6fgh5BU http://pastebin.com/58XyfGA6
Or if you want to import the whole project into eclipse and mess around with it yourself there is a .rar file in the dropbox containing the project, just keep in mind that I'm still pretty bad at java so the code is unorganized and unefficient but at least working.
Not sure if there's anything like this already out there, and if there is I couldn't find it. Either way I had fun making it!
EDIT: Also, here's a reddit link for the post I made on r/GlobalOffensive: http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1xnwdu/get_current_skin_prices_and_calculate_bettrades/

Solo Q, meet five stack in both games I can play, lose both of them, need one more win for a rank AND just misses my opportunity to stack with friends.
Game is frustrating at times. And AUG is very strong
|
AUG in it's current form is pretty much a call of duty gun for the first like 8 bullets. You can still lose with it but it's so much easier to use than any other gun and has best dps/accuracy ratio of any automatic gun in the game. AUG was a legit choice when you went for a long distance spot as CT if you knew how to handle it (tap when scopped for almost no recoil repeat fire). Literally only buff it needed is make it's head shot always one shot throu helmet and i'd take it over m4 in some situations. The fact that it does 100 to 90 damage depending on distance is pretty hilarious, all those 99 damage shots xD

One-shot headshots would make Aug imbalanced too... All they really needed to do was fix its recoil while keeping the rate of fire the same, or buff its rate of fire slightly and the recoil not as much imo.

I've stopped playing MM until the aug is fixed. In the meantime I'm just playing casual and working on achievements (100 molotov kills is hard). Best part about casual is just listening to all the noobs. "Hey guys I just bought this game" (5 minutes later) "Oh yeah, this guys is for sure hacking"

Luckily, I haven't really had much of a problem with Augs. Even though the weapon is really noob friendly, the people at my skill level are pretty bad, so the AK is still plenty good enough (or an AWP if the AK's not working out). People just hide behind the most obvious spots when they camp with an Aug so it's quite easy to peek out and just headshot them. It's definitely harder than it used to be (I die more often when trying to get an entry now) but it's still doable.

The Aug is like a p90 but with more distance and way more dmg per bullet.

More like a damn autosniper with better accuracy and fire rate but a little less damage per shot and worse "scope" tbh. It's pretty silly how imba it is right now. On my matchmaking MMR-level (Master Guardian II) some matches everybody uses it and on some for some reason nobody does.
In my experience, right now the AUG generally seems to be most important on Inferno where all of my most recent matches has been completly decided by who starts at CT-side and therefore gets "the aug advantage" as we like to call it.
