That must have come out last night right? I played a little bit and noticed the x-ray thing and didn't remember that from before. I wasn't really playing with sound either so I wasn't listening but hopefully it's a nice improvement.

Hey guys, pretty new with computers. Looking to buy a laptop (budget 500$$ max) that could run CSGO smooth. I don't mind playing on low graphics. I'm looking at purchasing this one tonight unless said otherwise;

It should run, but it is an integrated chipset, so it's not really recommended at all for any game really. So it might not be very smooth (even on low)

Well it gives around 70 fps for it, but still it's really weak.

Never buy a laptop for gaming. It's just never worth it. If you have to get a laptop with that budget, buy a dirt cheap refurbished one and speed the rest (~$400) on a desktop that will easily smash CSGO.

Crisp, clean, and pure...and fun of course, once you get over the learning curve. There's a reason CS is still one of the most played games in the world, and seen as one of the greatest esports ever played.

That last part may be just opinion, but its an opinion shared by many.

I find skins not really distinctive, is there a way to differentiate them easily? Besides I trained a bit & the invul respawn in deathmatch is crap.

As a new player to the counterstrike series, can someone tell me why so many people recommend deathmatch servers to practice your aim on when new? They're absolutely infuriating. 99% of the time they're just a chaotic clusterfuck as they have way too many players on so you're either spawn killing or being spawn killed. If not that you're being sniped by the multitude of awp players, I swear it seems like half the players are using awps on most deathmatch servers. I find myself getting more frustrated with deathmatch then anything.
Is this just how it is? Are there any good servers people would recommend in Europe?

Secondly, I'm really having trouble hitting moving targets, as soon as an enemy player starts strafing I may as well just give up as I can't hit them for the life of me, I realise it's probably just practice but if there's any tips people can think of then I'm all ears.

You might want to try a smaller DM server.. The chaos is going to make you have to be faster and more accurate. You won't kill anyone if you have to take your time to aim for their head and put the required shots into them, you also learn to have faster reactions and really learn and understand the guns. Anyone more familiar with CS than me please add anything or correct me if I'm wrong.
