I dont think blade provides enough frag power in the current meta. The games he is poor teams literally just go find him and keep killing him and then all of your tactics stop mattering.

I reckon they could cut Seized or Edward, wouldnt matter much either way, They are roughly the same level. I think Seized is a better player when he wasnt leading and he can play anchor and support roles which fit nicely. But thats just preference I dont think it would matter much either way.

Things like these really elevate the greatness of some these igls that can have explosive games even when leading in tough games.

If Zeus dont want to return, there is no other candidate than b1ad3. Ange1 have the shares of HellRaisers so there is no way he is leaving. There is starix who can do the job but he didnt leave with good terms afaik.

tbh theres big difference in terms of skill between f3 and navi. there is enough frag power on navi with s1mple, flamie and guardian. they could fill b1ad3s shoes easily. perhaps b1ad3 will individually perform better there on a better setup, we dont know.

Yeah i mean what do you do if your Zeus, do you return to NaVi (if there is an offer) but then in the back of his mind will always be that potential to be kicked again. Stay with Gambit who are doing very well in majors and look very good on there day.

I would like to see NaVi shuffle more than just 1 though, an IGL plus another talent would be good. Maybe break up Edward and Flamie too. I don't know just think siezed should be first sacrifice for sure.

Flamie without Starix has been a headless aimbot. When coaching was allowed he micromanaged him alot. In retrospect maybe that was a bad thing.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I am not happy that iBP got unbanned by ESL. Did not exactly like ESL earlier and this is the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

yes that would be an unpopular opinion and with good reason.

The goal of punishment should be rehabilitation not punishment itself.

The goal of punishment certainly includes dissuading others from committing the same misdeeds, especially in circumstances where we are talking "prevented from playing a video game" rather than say "put in jail".

Honestly valve stands to gain very little from "rehabilitating" convicted matchfixers. People often confuse legal justice with actual justice, and they are very much not the same thing.

I dont see what legal justice, actual justice or the difference between them has anything to do with this but ok.

There are numerous examples of people having made mistakes and or/cheated (circumstances vary) in various sports and depending on the nature of the offense been banned for life, or been punished, served there terms and come back successfully in addition to being probably the best ambassadors to promote programs and efforts to dissuade people from doing the same thing.

Again the goal of punishment (with the obvious exceptions) should be to rehabilitate. Whether Valve has something to gain from it is also rather irrelevant (and they do have something to gain, all of these players are very popular and would be a net benefit no matter how you slice it).

Personally I dont care what happens to these players specifically. But the precedents should be set very clearly and I think ESL has put alot of clarity into the situation.

Don't think there is much rehabilitation for match fixing Rebs, throwing a match is generally the one thing most traditional sports don't offer leniency for. Here in the Netherlands match fixing in sports has led to lifetime bans at minimum and prison sentences at most. Hell if players of my football club threw for money, prison would keep them safe. I feel the IBP guys throwing for skins (and not money) is what makes me give them the benefit of ignorance and stupidity, also they were pretty young. But I wouldn't be surprised to see many orgs continue the ban.

I did say obvious exceptions. If a guy is a 5 year vet throw him in for life.

Fixing in our part of the world is very common, not just match fixing but even spot fixing. Where certain actions (that are nearly impossible to prove) are taken at certain times to benefit bookies. None of it is acceptable. We have plenty of vets with life bans for it. Athletes from poorer countries. certain backgrounds and dynamics are especially susceptible. But if a kid is young, impressionable or relatively fresh to a professional environment the same standards should not apply.

Peoples standards for what constitutes someone who "should no better" are incredibly harsh.
