Nice analogy dude, I'd call that accurate.

Katowice groups are out
Brutal format with tons of upset potential,
Group 1 Fnatic Na`Vi Luminosity NiP mousesports TheMongolz
Group 2 EnvyUS Astralis VP Faze NA seed Efrag
On paper LG, Na`Vi and Fnatic should advance from group 1 with Fnatic 1st but honestly I can see them beating each other(definitely in a bo1).
Astralis, Envy and VP from Group 2 with Envy as first since Astralis is struggling.
Mouse/NiP/Faze/maybe the american seed should all be capeable of upsetting in Bo1 round robin though and VP/Astralis and even Envy(Envy slightly) is inconsistent right now.

also, im 100% confident that groups are rigged. LG and navi in same group again; it's like the old titan envy grouping that happened at every fucking tournament

They probably use some randomisation program with some smart code for the randomisation like some mp3-players have for shuffle, lel.

which would explain why cobble is always the 3rd map when it wasnt banned?

Depends how good VP shows... If that's like Leipzig, I could see FaZe over them...

What a slaughterfest lol :p why is it always these certain opposite polars in groups o.o

I mean it is Valve we're talking about here. I'd be very surprised if the programmers were capable of implementing a proper random number generating or using one correctly. They probably call rand() without seeding lol
