Aura nerf for solo players might hurt me a bit, but let's see if it will truely turn into a nerf since the auras itself get stronger (you just won't be able to have many without effort). | ||

Have to wonder about certain auras that were already borderline OP, how much are they buffing them. I'll probably come back and play some in 1.0 again, the new hardcore league could be interesting. The new docks exp is interesting, I expect to see alot of RF dual sparker's created right away haha. | ||

They won't be safe from Exiles though.  Chaos damage can be everywhere nowadays! | ||

I think it means dropping the semi-needed auras, like dropping grace, or keeping anger and dropping wrath, etc. Hopefully the changes mean some of my friends will stick playing; haven't really been able to get people to stick with the game long enough to appreciate it. I hope that the changes to bosses doesn't mean that bots will run rampant. | ||

Just stack flat physical damage increases. Even without any additional unique item you can easly hit 8-9k dps with frenzy. (iron rings with 7-15 physical damge, amuletts with 11-25 phys dmg). Remeber you can wear a quiver, so if you feel you are beefy enough get urself a nice 1-4 phys dmg + x-xx phys dmg quiver. Link your frenzy with meele splash, added fire damage/meele physical damage and life leech. 1% mana leeched on physical damage will be enough for your mana house-hold untill you can afford a 5 link to link BL. (some people run content with wurm's molt and skip out on lifeleech gem in favor of more dmg) My onslaught facebreaker hovers around 12k dps with full frenzy stacks and can easly do high lvl maps. Only thing you should be aware of is physical reflect, you want to pick up the "100% hit never crit" passive if you are playing hardcore Without crits its pretty easy to kill phys reflect just chain ur granites and use enfeeble. My latest iterration of facebreaker build:+ Show Spoiler + edit: btw i don't like to run Bringer of Pain in HC, you give up a lot of armor and the less armor + more damage makes it pretty though to play phys reflect maps. | ||

Do you think a cyclone build can work as well, since it reminds me of the good old Barb Whirlwind from D2  ? | ||

Frenzy has the great benefit of gaining alot of attack speed via charges and infernal blow just has this really nice chain-death synergy because of your pretty guaranteed last hit on mobs ^^ (the MFer of our party always forbid me to attack rares if they were below 60% hp  )Btw if you consider Infernal Blow be aware that elemental reflect reflects the explosion damage. Oh ok Just want to say thanks to you because awhile ago you helped me for my first serious char ( and the 2nd one I play ), which is an IceSpear crit witch. I'm level 55, took CI and currently in Merc now . I found Facebreaker with her in Cruel Barrack too haha.P/S: quick question: So Facebreaker with shield or quiver ? P/S 2: so shield if I go for main strength(e.g marauder) and quiver when you go for dex/frenzy ? | ||

Much appreciated :D You always want to wear a shield when you hit high-level areas because shields go up to 1.700 armor which is pretty significant, especially if you go for Bringer of Pain. Dual spark doesn't need that many levels. My (retired) low life MF sporker was 88 and aside from pretty godly gear she had all the nodes she needed, including IF, ES on shield nodes and so on. 6.2k ES, 4.4k dps 310 IIR 110 IIQ before flask. Got bored, though, and sold most items including the Shav. Speaking of which, I expect them to announce nerfs for Shavs and Kaoms soon. Also the aura change will nerf RF spork a lot, only the best equipped sporkers could run 5 auras permanently with the BM gem after the snapshot semi-fix, I expect that to go down to 3-4 for them including a loss of hundreds of dps. Losing haste alone (lvl19) meant going down to 3.8k dps. | ||
