Reposting From PoE forums (TL;DR LF fresh start group)
Looking for players to roll new characters with, without the use of previous items, gems, or currency.
Yeah yeah, I know this is basically what races are, and with launch coming up yadda yadda blahdyblah. I'm just looking for people to enjoy the game with again since Facebreaking and freeze pulsing a character to 60 isn't all that fun anymore.
Who knows if we don't all hate each other with a burning passion by the time launch comes around maybe we can roll launch together.. long enough until we all roll scions and rage quit from shitty un-optimized builds#Q_Q

At launch ill be playing the new SC league with shrines or whatever they are called. Ill be working on builds at first, then possible unlocking the Scion if I need to for the build that I make and then I'll start in the new leagues.
My IGN and Steam name are both Varanice.

Are dual claw shadows viable endgame? Was thinking of rolling one for Nemesis but they look really weak on paper. Or at least the ones I thought of

I dont think dual claw is viable, but claw/shield definately is. I cant find the build anymore but Etup had an insane claw/shield build that used double strike. Not sure about after the anarchy + sc merge, but I was charging 15~ chaos for level 20 or Q20 and then 1 ex - 1.5 ex for 20/20 depending on the gem.

If anybody still trades in gcp, probably around 9. Else 27 chaos. 20/20 is 2ex.
I won't play the new leagues due to that effing stupid change to MF. I agree that it should be nerfed but not in a way that solo players like me will never stand a chance. Was kinda interested in the new SC league before, though.

2nd Mara at #6 overall at the recent Endless Ledge Immolation race. That was fun, pretty much no close calls as I had luck with fire resistances on my gear. Also rolled a good weapon at like lvl 13 which I used until the end.
Also zdfgucker what change do you mean? I read the raptr Q&A thing and suppose you mean that there won't be IIQ on magic/rare items and no IIQ gem. I agree it's already stupidly hard to find very good stuff while playing solo, but you can definitely find stuff to crush through the game (except for high level maps). Well... we'll see, I'll most definitely try the new leagues, as I like fresh starts.

Also they metnioned several times now that they want to adjust the rate white drops in high level areas. That could conclude in "more" rare drops which will equal out the non existing IIQ

I'm referring to guys like me that grind Lunaris 3. Solo, no multiboxing, no maps, nada. GGG is catering for people who play maps (and they sort of encourage multiboxing) and slap people like me in the face. They should just put a hardcap for overall MF and keep both IIQ and IIR as-is.
@bluQ, let me guess, "high level areas" will be map content? That's probably the case considering the path GGG has chosen.

1st time that I was first for like 3-4 levels. But... god that race is hard lol. Died right now.
Got surrounded by spiders and there were like 10 statues shooting at me so yeah. ^^

They're putting diminishing returns on IIR according to the Q&A and changing the IIQ party bonus to IIR (at least partially). They also ARE NOT removing IIQ uniques from the new leagues so expect those to be worth a small fortune and low life MF builds to be even more popular.
High level areas would refer to the MF mapping groups, but I doubt very many people six man party and run docks or lunaris for loot. Technically the same thing would apply to them.
Also I like this quote from the Q&A about partying
Players interpret the game as expecting them to do anything that is marginally more profitable than another action. I would like to adjust the profitability of partying so that it's fairer, but it'll probably still feel like it's expected.

Is everyone going to be back at lvl 1 ? or are they transfering etc

There will be no reset although new leagues will start and I think a decent amount of people will be coming back to the game and try starting from scratch (or start from scratch to play with friends who haven't tried it or w/e).
So everybody will still be at their current stage of progress technically.

lol, got beat by a witch in the 105 min race :D Was probably only one that went to act3 even. At least I got a demi, so today was a good day
