There's also a set of insanely difficult Guild Challenges to be completed in the new Challenge leagues. Any speculation on what sort of things these could be? Guild implies that either they're party challenges or quantity challenges (x members have y). I hope they have some sort of Shrine with crazy mods boss battle or something. | ||

theres always the simple Team Liquid Exiles TLX has anyone played the EB arctic armor EK ranger? I'm going to roll an EKer as my first char in the new leagues, and am debating between the Marauder version and the EB one. Is one considered better than the other? | ||

The Ranger version depending on how you build it will do way more damage just because easier access to certain nodes like power charge nodes towards the Shadow Tree and Witch Tree. The Marauder tree CAN make it to that side, but it requires way more points. If you're going to roll an EB/Arctic Armour EK char just roll a Witch, it's much easier and requires less gear, or if you want the ez mode version just roll a Shadow because you also get Beartrap along the way (which is necessary for single target). I personally run/ran a Witch with mass crit chance/dmg with EK and I can survive double reflects with crits between Determination and my huge life pool (I run ES/Life together rather than running EB, which means I have to cut out a few auras). If you play HC the Mara is way better just because Life/Armor builds are much easier to gear for early on, not to mention that Mara can groundslam all the way up to like level 70 while leveling the other gems he needs on a switch item. The Mara version is boring as hell, but completely safe due to endurance charges, usually about 20k armor, 4-5k health, etc. You could play a Shadow EK version with Arctic Armor/CI/IR with ES/EV gear and tons of crit, that does work too, but it isn't safe at all because of the stun factor. I mean, EK in general is still really fucking good. It's just people all gravitated towards Spork nonsense because it's overpowered as hell and requires no effort to build. | ||

I'd like to try an evade block character, preferable with endurance charges- Is that viable? Any hint as to what skills to use with that? I only came up with an EK ranger start. But yeah, I've no idea about all the latest skill/ support gems. | ||

Kinda shitty monkey zone, then the best skeletal zone I've ever played/seen. Went from lvl13 to lvl17 without there being a chest zone. Just back to back champion packs. Then I rolled a 68% IPD wep and was maybe top2-3 at some point. Then I got a really terrible discharger zone. 1 single pack of melee mobs/poison caster troughout the entire instance. 2 blue monkey packs. Rest was just back to back dischargers. If I took more risks there I'd definitely been #1 duelist, but since I died there last descent I took it really slow and lost. #2 duelist #5 overall ;( | ||

(current 105 min turbo race) LOL Willywonka stream is fun right now. He's at Merveil without a TP and no potions anymore. Just some life regen... idk if he'll get her down before the race ends lol. edit: nope he died. | ||
