Woot okay so thats 3 of us for HC group so far anyone else interested ?? We should probably schedule some times through out the week we can all set aside some hours for group play.
Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to some gear I have already.
Also we should make builds that work well with eachother. I was thinking of a coldcrit shadow... having a 2h, caster and ranger would be nice. Ill be able to get on in a few hours so maybe we can start then or at least organize a team and time.

I agree 100% how do you propose we do that though? The Teamspeak server has a bunch of PoE rooms set up. Eh I don't use Teamspeak.

Well you better start
We could just start a list in the OP? Add names as ppl say their names and if they play SC or HC or both.
Also we should utilize the IRC#TLexiles chat rooms and teamspeak. I know some of us already do that.

The wiki isn't very clear on this: Is shock generated by getting crits or is it just a passive proc on the skill? Arc and Shock Nova both list a shock proc but Sparks doesn't. If Shock isn't generated by getting crits then would a double totem + double curse build be a good way to play an arc witch or is crit the way to go?
|
Crits apply the status effect for elemental damage. Double totem isn't nearly as good as closed beta after the nerf either.

If people want to start pming/posting their PoE names and leagues I could add them to the OP.

Account: Qaatar Character: Quane Tanky ranger (Nugiyen's build) HC
I just want another leveling buddy for my current 36 Ranger HC toon that's started Cruel. I usually play at some time between 4-5 pm and 5-6 am EST. Some days I won't get on, some days I'll play 10+ hours, depending on my schedule. I play SC only with my buddy who doesn't like playing HC, and we'll be playing a lot this weekend, so I probably won't be touching this HC toon until Monday or Tuesday.
Edit: going to sleep now

Ok so lets use a format such as this one?
Account: Build: Softcore/Hardcore Other:
Its really all optional to fill in except account. Also state what league the character is Hardcore/Softcore.

ok guys, question
if my weapon says "100% increased physical damage", but im dual wielding
is only that weapon damage increased, or is my TOTAL physical damage (both weapons) increased 100% ?
|
Just local to the weapon. There is a global physical damage mod, but that only appears on unique items I believe.

Does anyone know how much damage frozen pulse does farthest away from your caster before it disappears? It says it does decreased damage and freezing as it fades out but can't find anywhere how much damage less it does

Got a question for you guys. I was using the skill calculator which seems to imply that there are 111 skill points in the game. Somewhere on the poe forums, someone stated you get 7 per difficulty from quest rewards, plus 100 from levels which totals at 121? Also if you choose to help one of the bandits, 8% allres obviously, does this mean you permanently miss the chance to hit the skill point cap?

Reaching level 100 is practically impossible so you shouldn't worry about hitting a skill cap. The bandit rewards are comparable to a skill point in terms of reward so you shouldn't think about it in terms of missing a skill point. It is more like devoting a point to a permanent node that you can't respec.
Your build should be fleshed out by the time you get to about 60 points if you don't want to get trashed in merciless.
