Improvised finish was nice though :p yea ofcourse the goal is improvised. That adds to the brilliance, I dont think anyone should be under the illusion that he had that planned all along. The touch let him down but the closer I look at it he did well enough just to bring it down. If he hadnt gotten his foot on it at the height he did the trajectory wouldve taken it to far and the chance was dead. its not just a nice goal its brilliant anyones who's ever tried to kick a ball could tell :p let alone a professional or an expert.

Man united have bought a player who can play anywhere across the backline, defensive midfield and is going to be captain of England within the next 3 years. The kid is that good. Watch this space. EDIT: Forgot to say you havent been watching man u then cause he has been playing at right back for them too and he gets forward lots. Also your correct on Bent and Barry though haha. Should play 4-5-1 with rooney alone upfront and over poweerthem!!!

Watch this gameand watch him play right back for man utd when Vidic and Ferdinand till the end of season when he raplces them and then next yseason he will be playing centre back constantly, this year though hes going to be playing a lot at right back. Hes what they say Versatile. If only England had a few more of them!!!!

France - Bosnia/Hercegovina and Denmark - Portugal comes to mind. It would be nice as well if Holland can kick Swedens ass in Stockholm.

Robben, Sneijder, Stekelenburg, Afelley, Heitinga to name a few. Still hope for a good game though. Last nights game against Moldavia was rather lackluster but that also had to do with Moldova having 11 players on the goal line I guess.

They aren't that great when playing for England, but they are the best options. How many English strikers have put in consistent displays like Bent (in the Premier League, I mean). Walcott has been just as good as England's other winger options (Lennon / Milner lol). Barry is not top class, but no other English holding midfielder springs to my head at the moment. I suppose that England could field players like Welbeck / Sturridge and the likes, but they aren't going to solve the fact that English players are a touch below the top teams at the moment.
