No team in all of football history has ever lucked out on new talent like bvb.
True in some aspects. But they got some of their players from other teams which didnt recognize the talent.
And Dortmund is already dominating its first game again. They really look incredible for such a young team. If they were playing in england, italy or spain, some of their players could be worth 20+ millions easily. I really get enthusiastic when thinking about the future of our national team.
Lewy was supposed to be their top buy last season and he is good and well worth the money, mind you he chose bvb over an epl team offering 1.5mil more than bvb but he has alot of competition from GroBkreutz, Gotze and Kagawa, who was bought for 300k? O_O Even Piszczek who came to hertha as a striker somehow became a top wing back in the Bundesliga and will never let Owomoyela play again.
Gonna be awesome to see those young players compete with top teams of the premier league and primera division.
Götze is such a fantastic player. The main reason behind the succes of this team is Jürgen Klopp. He really knows how to push his players to the limit.
Dear god it look like Sneijder is going to Man City instead of Man Utd. Such a sad, sad summer of transfers. I hope Ferguson understands Anderson/Carrick/Gibson/Park/Giggs or whoever partnered with Fletcher would be like somewhere around the 5th best centre midfield in England.

Yeah the midfield along with European football(ffs play 4-5-1 would you) seem to be Ferguson's blind spots. Although cleverly is looking good, plus Anderson could come good this season, i think the midfield will be better this year, but not by enough to challenge barca, which has to be fergies ultimate goal. Only thing about sneijder is that it might be the smart move, his recent form hasnt been brilliant, hes not young, and hes demanding an insane price tag and wages. There could be a much more promising youngster next season or in January that fergie could buy, rather than fork out a small fortune on a player that might not produce the same performance, who knows?

Rofl you think they can beat Barca, RM or MANU?
This is just a pet peeve of mine and I don't know why you're doing it as you're from Denmark. Usually, I only see dumb Americans calling Manchester United "ManU" because of this retarded network named ESPN who hire sportscasters who know nothing about the game (yeah, I'm talking about John Harkes.)
No one who knows anything about football calls United ManU. No one goes around and calls Manchester City ManC do they? I have no idea where this trend started but I'm on a holy crusade to stop it.
Even Scousers who hate everything United never call them ManU. Saying that is just a HUGE red flag alerting everyone that you don't know anything about the game.

Seeing as im actually from the UK, unlike you or at least your current residence at the moment, and live near Manchester at the moment, i can tell you i, and many of my friends, including several from Manchester call it ManU, including one who is actually friends with 2 members of their reserve team because he trains in the same gymn. Don't be so rude, especially when your clearly so ignorant yourself.

So the infection has spread there as well? Can't wait for the derby I bet -- when ManU play ManC.

No, they are too inexperienced yet, so they will not be able to play to their full potential in the CL, not to mention that some clubs just have better squads.
However, if they manage to play up to their potential they are no walkover by any means, they are capable of an upset, knocking out teams like Arsenal for example.
Realistically I doubt that they will pass the group stage :p They are seeded in pot 4, which means that they can get a group like Real/Milan/Man City.

Speaking it aloud their generally called ManU but in text Man Utd or other variations are generally better received.
I hear them called Manure a lot. and Man United, and Man City. And just City. and just United. In the end does it really matter what you call them? What you call a team has a tiny reflection on what you know about football. I've only seen united fans get annoyed at manu or man u because they find it disrespectful or something but I don't think the people saying it in the first place want to respect them.
Going down the pub to watch this one - hoping to see Aguero come on and interested to see how United shape up with their new line-up. Couldn't really give a toss who wins, just want to see the English players do well and a bit of entertainment

People normally shorten it to just man u when speaking out loud so we know if we talk about city or united but alright o.O i've seen it spelled man u on many forums.
