Lahm will play on the left 2. boateng will play on the right -> that would make it 10 players ^^ 3. probably instead of kroos and müller might be playing podolski and reus, highly unlikely that kroos plays left winger Lahm has played right full back for our national side since he's been switched there from the left at Bayern. I agree with Kroos probably not starting as left winger. I just wanted to point out that there were in fact a TON of Germany national potential starters on the pitch yesterday.

Pep Guardilo to leave Barcelona at the end of the season to "take a one year break" from football, Unless Roman Abramovich can persuade him otherwise. It will be formally announced in press conference tomorrow afternoon (midday in Spain) Can't handle losing to Chelsea maybe? ![]() http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11945/7707249/Guardiola-to-quit-Barcelona

Since this season Lahm played on the left side again(because he played there for Bayern at that point aswell) and Löw mentioned that he does not intend to switch again after Alaba's rise as left back for Bayern, right backs were Träsch/Boateng/Höwedes for the last year. € The first suggestion when you enter "löw lahm" @ google is kinda funny :D

Hopefully he will come back because he certainly is a fantastic manager.

I don't get any "funny suggestions" though. Or do you mean "Lahm hat mit Löw Doppelpass gespielt"? That's semi-funny I guess.

They will play like this: --------------Gomez Götze-------Özil-------Müller ----------Schweins. -------------------Khedira Schmelzer------------------Lahm -------Hummels----Boateng -----------------Neuer

I even capitalized it to pre-emptively address people like you know-it-all. In fact I find it amusing how you post: "They will play like this." Don't worry though. I'll not laugh at you when they won't.

I'm not a big fan of Boateng at either position, FB or CB and our CBs should anyways be Badstuber and Hummels. We'll have to go with a non-world-class option at one of out FB positions.

That could be a part of it, but i also believe that he wants to end on a high note, he has won everything with that club..twice. If he lingers on too long i believe he thinks his mark on the club will be tarnished. By leaving this season he will have left on a high note and cement his position as the most succesful manager they have ever had. Then he can sit and write articles in local newspapers like Johan on what the club should do. If i was him i would leave this season.

In essence I agree with you though. While I don't toot into the same "Barca's revolutionizing of football has failed" horn as a lot of "Experts" are at them moment, on the off chance, that next season will be even worse for them he picked a reasonable time to leave.

So, its not news to someone who knows his stuff. The coach of my local team Olympiakos is a hot prospect for them now. Valverde has played for Barca and trained as a coach there, so they have him on their list for the same reasons they hired Pep. Also guess what style his teams are playing, possession football, tiki taka with high defense. He's a barca child in his philosophy and that's why they want him.

At 1:0 Sporting HAS to score to go through, and Athletic would feel way more comfortable scoring a second one.
