Do you honestly think Chelsea is even close to the same level as barce??? cause that's what it seems you're implying. Just look at the game, chelsea don't even touch the ball but amazingly they keep getting tiny chances and SCORING which is awesome but common, are you kidding me... Wait who won last week? Different strategies, different games. (Although I will admit that Barca is probably better right now.) Yeah except Chelsea's strategy is to put human bodies in front of the opposing team and hope to be able to counter while the other team plays what is called football, dont know if you ever heard of it

But then, if I were refereeing I'd allow everyone a at least one free foul on Sanchez (and Dani Alvez, Busquets, Mascherano, etc., perhaps two on Terry). Oh well, even if it was harsh, it was incredibly stupid and couldn't have happened to a nicer person. Also, terrible keeping (again) from Valdes.
Not sure you can blame that entirely on Valdes. The defense was torn apart way too easily by Chelsea as well.
(not to take anything away from the goal. It still takes class to make the pass and that finish was exquisite. )

Chelsea are playing like Alex Mcleish is managing, all men behind the ball and only attack through long balls. Boring and negative football. Although even if they do go out, that goal was beautiful.

He plants his knee in Sanchez' back how can that not be a red card.

Yea Valdez was a spectator there. The finish was sublime, just as good as anything Messi or Ronaldo could pull off. Barca were caught sleeping with their pants down..

its their strat to play vs 10 midfielders.. in sc2 if you 6 pool me im not going to play normal.. barca 6 pool, they go all in, you wall like in sc2, and counter them..
chelsea play football well if you watch them in the epl, the problem is you cant play 4 midfielders vs 9.. it simply doesnt work.. so they play 4 defenders, 5 midfielders and drogba in hope to break on barca.. its football.. just not Spanish pretty boy football .

I predicted before the game the ref would send a Chelsea player off late in first half. Just didn't think it would be for such a silly thing. It's also pretty obvious Barca will get at least one penalty this game if they don't manage to score one on their own. That fact, and that the Chelsea players have to be soooooo careful now (not only those with yellow cards) makes me think it's not possible for Chelsea to survive this.

This is the kind of comment i was aiming it it, yes i do happen to think that Chelsea aren't that far away from barca. They aren't untouchable gods of football for gods sake, a shit Chelsea and a shit arsenal have beaten them in recent years now, plus real Madrid beating them, and possibility of being knocked out by a down to 10-man old shit Chelsea. I'd argue they aren't even the best team in Spain anymore, just people get carried away because their style of play. In the previous post I meant to say "the best team of all time", not the best team in the world sorry. They clearly are an incredible team, and them and real are defiantly the two best teams in the world right now, but people are getting carried away with their hype.

looks like Terry ran into the back of him, honest mistake to make, typical barca though, surround the ref and get a player sent off
|
I thought it wasn't a red card when I first saw it - but after looking at the footage at half-time, it's 100% a red card
