When has the Chelsea manager been given the freedom, or the illusion of being at a safe position, to bed in young players, and thus lose a couple of points on the way? There's a reason why McEchren, Lukaku, Kakuta - three players really talked about haven't been given proper goes. Kakuta has actually left hasn't he? Its the injury that brought it down. I dont think anyone was genuinely serious about any of the Dortmund players last season. And frankly no one was interested in a hurt player anyway so no one is going to make an offer period, doesnt mean the valuation goes down. There's no value to anything if nobody is willing to pay for it. I don't understand why you got all defensive about this lol. Gotze's form is hardly 20m+ either (ignoring current injury spell). It's just the young potential talent thing.

Clubs arent buying as quickly at those prices like they would have a few years ago because with FFP you cant afford expensive duds anymore. Depending on how the Euro's go for him he could absolute go through the roof. Kagawa's still rejecting his double the pay contract from Dortmund because teams are courting him. Otherwise he has no leverage and wouldve taken it by now. They dont want to give him a reworked contract because they want to keep him necessarily.. Its so hes worth more if they have to sell.

Though I still don't see why they delayed today and tomorrows matches. A 1 minute silence before each match would have been the better option.

Yeah, it's all about jumping on the franchise bandwagon and nothing to do with the fact that they have better players and play better football.... right? LOL As for the FA Cup, yeah it's prestigious to some degree, but the only people who care about it nowadays are those whose teams are still left in it. And I would hardly call the merseyside rivalry 'the best city rivalry in the world'.

Debatable, for Merseysiders it sure is. Liverpool is as big as franchises come, considering how tripe their football is this season thats the only thing they ever point to nowadays. Evertons first goal was Liverpool being shit, and then Everton who are actually pretty good, returned the favour. Oh oh wait and then the 35 million pound donkey did what he should've been doing all season with his head (hint: its not sucking dick). In between there was marginally entertaining play where I had to wake up at 7 am to watch the bloody thing and wished the whole game Id been sleeping. It was a dull game with typical lack of incisiveness on Liverpools part and scoring isnt exactly Evertons forte either.Thank God it had a story. As for the ending, Im gona take a gander your a Liverpool fan. I doubt Everton fans found it beautiful considering how well they played for the most part. As it is I'd rather see a Swansea game than Liverpool play. Even if it is "gasp" the F A cup semifinal. So yes we like football, preferably good football. No one without an agenda likes talking about mediocre football. O and btw for the greatest city rivarly in football history the number of empty seats was hilarious. what was it like 20 000 empty ?
