St.Pauli vs Union Berlin is the fucking best, most intense and thrilling match I've seen in a long time!
€ And huge respect for Ebbers. The ref gave a goal when he touched the ball with his hand, after some protests of Union players the ref asked Ebbers if he used his hand and he told the truth - the ref reversed his decision. It would've been the 2:1 in match crucial for getting into the Bundesliga, not many players would be that fair.

Barcelona is going to play against Getafe with a 3-3-4. I think that is too offensive xDDDD
Puyol Mascherano Adriano Xavi Busquets Iniesta Cuenca Alexis Messi Pedro

LOL i dont think there going to play 3-4-4 dude rofl xD
I think he will play Bus RB or maybe masch RB and Bus CB cant see 3-4-4 rofl

The funny thing, With that 11 players, only Puyol is a real Defender, lol.

I think he meant to say 3 4 3. They play that all the time. 3 4 4 means 12 players on the pitch. I dont think the referees love them that much. Masch never plays on the flanks, that doesnt work. This formation doesnt have a rightbacks or leftbacks technically in the general sense that they are deployed.
If its a 3 4 3 it will be 3 across the middle doesnt really matter what side their own its pretty tight since the protection to the flank will ideally be coming from Iniesta and Adriano dropping slight deeper and tracking back when they need to as pseudo wingbacks. If you really want a shape my guess would be Puyol Busquets Masch (imagine your looking at a lineup graphic).
Alternatively could be Adriano playing at the left side of center with Mascherano moving to the middle and Busquets moving into midfield. That would mean a Cuenca falling back on the flanks to help, and would allow for better cover for the defense through the middle and easier passing out.
They spend more time in the other half anyway
It works better when Dani Alvez in the lineup because that leaves Iniesta free playing ahead and Dani Alvez doesnt have to change his game much (again because hes in the other half most of the time but he has alot more pace and stamina to burn to get him out of trouble.)
This is ofcourse if they plan on playing a 3 4 3. Its easily adjusted to the normal 4 3 3 if Getafe are more in the game than they anticpated. In which case Puyol drops to Right back. Yes right back not center back and Adriano drops to left back. If Mascherano and Busquets line up in defense its almost always going to be central.

I wanted to say 3-3-4 xDD
This is more offensive that the usual 3-4-3 that Barcelona plays often. Today there are literally 4 forwarders (cuenca, pedro, alexis and Messi). I think this super-offensive setup is because Cesc cant play.
|
Messi drops of alot and Pedro and Cuenca can both play as trackers. Pedro in particular works really hard. Cesc not playing just means Messi drops deep more often and they want Sanchez to play the channels. Doesnt really matter.
I mean whether it actually does end up becoming an effective 3 4 4 just because thats how the game turns out is a different issue but teams dont generally lineup on paper like that.
Edit wow should be like 4-0. 3 Guilt edge 1 v 1s missed

Good ol Maxi Rodriguez. Always doing just enough every few weeks to show hes relevant, and then take a vacation till his next multi goal burst.

Just saw the Milan vs Chievo game. Horrible horrible display from Milan despite the win. Poor Chievo deserved at least a draw... 11 injured players and 3 suspended players really took its toll on Milan. Hopefully, they can get back in form soon and have the key players back from injury.

Nice 4-0 win for Barca. I just think Cuenca doesn't really add anything to the team, he had 10 good minutes in the end today, and played a bad game last time. I don't get why he is starting, when you have the likes of Tello on the bench.

Yeah Tello much better, but the logic for putting a natural winger is still there, and Cuenca is natural right winger which Tello obviously doesnt excel in or theyd put him there. Even if he doesnt create anything directly atleast he can draw defenders and help spread the play. Doesnt mean he has to go and beat his man every other time, just tiring the defense out is enough, besides the wingers always had 2 defenders on them. Just drawing that much opens the play up immensely.
He fizzed it across a couple of times and one of them Sanchez really should have finished. Wouldnt call it a bad game, but it was nothing spectacular.

Of course most people would prefer to see a team win titles playing like Barca and scoring many goals, but a team has to play to their strengths. Besides, I think Juve's going to win the title.
