On other news, India's premier league has been postponed, DAMMIT!!, it would have been top class straight away. It would have been the top leagues in this order. English,Spanish, Indian, German, French lol. But postponing it because they having trouble finalising the structures and small interworkings. India started the league hoping to spark interest by contracting semi professional legends still in the game like cannavaro and other English greats. Trying to get the Cricket crazy nation to start a swing in football im sure you mean spanish english italian german indian french.

Just face it you have the two super clubs and also good up and coming teams like Athletic and Valencia. English is on the downfall Utd dropping, Arsenal getting stomped and same with Chelsea. The only team that has a chance in europe is Man city and maybe Utd if they get some good transfer during the summer. About the italian league, i was just being all salty and shit. This season is a good for the serie A plus with upcoming teams like Juve, napoli, udinese, and roma. They would be a good challenge in europe.

I can't possibly say that a league where the 3rd ends up 30+ points from the 2nd is the best, i agree that real and barça are the 2 best in the world but the league itself is pretty bad imho. Even with arsenal and chelsea in bad shape, the difference between them and both manchesters is much smaller than in spain.

BBVA bottom 10 are almost complete garbage. And only the top 5 are really any good. In Italy the top 10 teams are almost all excellent, massive name clubs with big players and great tactical management. In EPL, about down to position 16 there is quality. Fulham, Everton, Stoke, Swansea, Sunderland (thanks to O'Neill)...all good teams on their day with a regular opportunity to take points off their opposition even though they are all languishing in the league. ^ Obviously Timurid hasn't actually watched Tottenham at all this season if he thinks Adebayor is carrying them. Sure they have always had a weakness in striker position so he is a perfect fit, but when you have players like Parker, Bale, Modric, Walker, VdV, King...you are not getting 'carried' by any one player.

I feel that Valencia has more potential to be threat next year with their good youth players coming up and clearing up their debt. They can put a dent into teams hopes in the UCL. Also, Athletic has put together a very good team with a very unique team policy of only signing basque players. Hopefully, if they don't get poach by big teams they're going to be a good team in europe. As for England, if arsene decides to spend money hopefully he does Arsenal would be in good shape. He should get rid of dummies like djourou and start ox over theo no brains walcott. Chelsea is going down. Tottenham is just being carried by adebayor and most their players and manager will leave this summer. City is going to be a joke in europe with mancini on top and utd needs some transfer to revive that shit midfield. tottenahm is carried by Adebayor? u really dont watch the premiership.... just for that statment. Bale, Van der vaart among just two.... Harry will deffiantly join England at end of season but Tottenham ar ein such a posiition you will see someone like Mourinho come in and take over... they have the players and the squad now and only missing a big name manager and perhpas a player or two if that, plus they will be in the champions league next season! Arsene Wnger really need to buy otherwise get rid of himand get someoen who will buy... Arsenal have alawys been missing one world class centre backs hes a tool.. Chelsea is going down as they need tor ealise big nameplayers like £50 million on Torres could of bought 5 players to actualyl stregthen the squad oas they need to realise their spine is Terry and lamaprd whoa re not getting any younger... I see AVB going verysoon.. perhpas before end of season... They need someone that ROM wont get involved with.... Apprently he wanted Torres and Ancelotti(At the time) didnt... Mancini will do ok and so will City, if on seperate sides the uefa cup thyis year will be man utd vs man city... Problem was this year was their first champions league together and they will be even stronger nextyear as when youget a gorup together you take time to gel.. Man utd need one holding player and antoher years experience of the youngsters and they will also be ok... Suprised Alex didnt buy one in the xmas but he knows he will be ripped off and well Cleverly is back now!!!

Its reason we have so many investers into our teams (Roman Abramovich/Sheikh @City/Americans at Liverpool Aston Villa and Man United). My view would go. England > Spain > Germany > Italy > France > Holland > Portugal > Russia Overall I can agree with your view on league strength. In England all of the former Great 4 seem to struggle atm. ManU needs to buy at least 2 world class players (+ a decent goalkeeper) this the summer in order to compete with Real and Barca. Arsenal seems to be in the decline, if Van Persie leaves this summer (and I think he will) they are fucked. Even if they have money to spend, no ambitious player like Götze will join them, because the chance of winning a title there seems slim. Chelsea needs to get rid of some of their old players and add younger ones. Liverpool is just not that good anymore. But with Tottenham and Man City you have two other strong teams. Man City with all their money will be a force to be reckoned with and Tottenham seems really strong right now, too. Therefore I would still rank the Premier League #1 even though they didn't perform that well in Europe this year. Spain has arguably the two best teams in the world right now, and some decent teams like Valencia, Sevilla and Athletico, but the gap between the top teams and the rest of the league seems to be quite huge. Also many teams have big debt problems, so I would rate La Liga only #2. Germany has maybe the most balanced league out of the top ones. Even the last team can take points of the top teams, something you hardly ever see in Spain for example. One of the reasons is that the tv money is distributed more fairly between all teams unlike in Spain or Italy where every team can make their own tv deal. On the other hand therefore its hard to compete with teams on the highest level (CL wins) and only Bayern (as much as I hate them) has the potential to do so if they have a good year. Italy seemed to be in a decline the last couple of years. Inters CL win felt like a fluke and teams like Milan seemed to be way past their prime. Adding their old stadiums and lousy visitors counts things weren't looking to good imo. But this season they have proven me wrong so far. Teams like Napoli and Udinese are playing great and Milan were looking strong so far as well. Actually I always liked Italian football so I'm happy about that. Also I don't know if I would rank Bundesliga or Serie A higher right now, they a pretty even in my opinon. France is the league with least money out of the Big 5, but it's quite impressive what they achieve with their limited amount of money. Like the Bundesliga they don't necessarily have a contender for CL titles but the league itself seems to be quite interesting and their always seem to be one or two teams doing exceptional well every season. On the topic of those investors you mentioned... I don't think having those investors is a good thing, rich sugar daddys like the Sheikh and Abramovic only lead to a distortion of competition. If those guys somehow get bored with their toys, clubs like Chelsea or ManCity are pretty fucked. In Germany we have a 50+1 rule that guarantees that the clubs always have to own the majority of their shares making it impossible for sugar daddys to take over the clubs. Also we have much stricter rules concerning debts of the clubs, half of La Liga wouldn't even get a license to play here because of their high debts.

Ancelotti at PSG and also with the money available give that team a few years and they would be a very good team in the future.
