Racism is when someone excludes socially another person because of his race... is when people don't get the same opportunites than other because of their race or religion... Not when some people from the opossite football team are called niggers... FFS Porto had 6 Black players on their team yesterday.... (Fernando, Helton, Mangala, Varela and Rolando and Alvaro Pereira) Due to my mixed heritage I've suffered quite a bit of it in Holland (and still do). So all I can say is that once you experience racial insults yourself you'll start to understand how upsetting it can be. It makes you feel that you are out of place and don't belong where you are. The fact that Porto had black players themselves makes it all the more stupid from the people who did it.

Personally, I think most racists are just ignorant. If everyone were taught more about the issue from an early age, we'd have far less of them around. I wish governments all around the world were more proactive about educating kids in this matter.

I'm a supporter of both Inter and PSG (Inter is my main love however). Motta wanted to go, so I guess it was for his best. PSG is creating a beast team! As for Inter ahhh, the road to serie C? :[

I do not wish to offend anyone in the near future if i were to meet them I used to have a black friend and he said I had to call them black. Black is fine since they're black they just don't like being called niggers by people who aren't black.

On February 18 2012 21:21 bObaZ wrote: Just a Random Quote from Benfica's Legend Eusébio: + Show Spoiler + ![]() Being called black and people making monkey noises at you are two different things. So is using a person's skin colour to offend them. I understand that sometimes, in the heat of the moment, people will describe each other by their appearances, but that doesn't make it right, especially when you're insulting them. Is it being oversensitive? perhaps. However, when you're a high profile figure and can influence a lot of people with your words and actions, you can't afford to make stupid mistakes like that. Eusébio may have been indifferent to people calling him black, but he's from a different generation. His view of the world and how it works is outdated. In this age where everyone's striving for equality, you cannot show leniency to influential figures messing up on such a crucial & sensitive issue. As I've said before, those of you telling people to chill out on racism probably have never experienced it first-hand. Otherwise you would know why we make such a big deal out of it.
