His man-marking is what kept Messi quiet for most of the first 60 minutes. As soon as Lass came off the pitch, you started to see Messi turning and causing problems for whoever he was dribbling at. And of course you have the assist in the 76th minute - perhaps if Lass was still there it wouldn't have happened. Yeah that was kind of a weird sub. I guess mou wanted to go for the win. He should have swapped özil with ronaldo, the dude disappeared when he was needed the most.

Not sure how much you can blame on "clumsy" I've seen Nigel do some pretty outrageous stuff, but true at least he can still be called a football player unlike Pepe.

He's more portuguese than he is brazilian. He came to Portugal when he was 16 years old, and it's married to a portuguese girl. Altough he was born in brazil, it's not your normal naturalization (don't know if this word exists in english )And Yes! HE is a scumbag! but Carvalho and Coentrão are not. They just got carried away.

he's the reason I won't care if Argentina wins the World Cup within the next 10 years. On January 19 2012 08:34 bObaZ wrote: He's more portuguese than he is brazilian. Great game by Barça. Even with Messi not doing much all the attention he draws allows the rest to do more things. FORÇA!

Last time we met was WC in 1998 when legendary Laudrup brothers played remember that :D Despite scoring 2 goals you won 3-2 ^^ That's nice. The Laudrup brothers were awesome, especially Michael. OFC I remember the 98 match. When Denmark scored the first goal, my brother-in-law started to make fun of me because I was pissed and I darted away crying rofl. I was 12 ![]()

You don't step on their hand when they are on the ground while 16 photographers are zooming on you, he must be really dumb.

Barcelona is going to miss him when he retires.

If you want to shake the opponent up, play tough, tackle hard and push them around if you are bigger. If the referee didn't see it they have the possibility to punish him afterwards. In a match between Schalke and Gladbach this season Marco Reus played with an already injuried left foot and Jermaine Jones stepped on this foot on purpose. The referee didn't see it, but he was punished based on the TV clips and is not allowed to play for Schalke fot 8 weeks now. That's a clip of the incident. Keep in mind, Reus had a broken toe making the whole thing worse.

Pepe is definitely worse than de Jong, but the latter broke like 3 legs in the last year from horrendous tackles. He is a disgrace as well. Pepe highlight from previous season if anyone missed: Amazing how he keeps hitting and stomping. Never stops. Should have been disqualified for the rest of the season.

Peter Schmeicel was goalkeeper as well, defintely the best most legendary we've had . I'm looking forward to this next friendly vs you so i can see where my country really stands against the top notch ![]()

Now he did something similar (altho less obvious) again in one of the most watched matches world wide, he's just a disgrace for football... in my world this guy wouldn't be allowed to play anymore. Has earned enough millions already...
