Bad for my already very biased viewpoint on Portugese football players.Pepe obviously being the worst, but what's up with Carvalho and Coentrao? A little bit of bad luck and they could've had 3 red cards as far as I could see. Pepe definitely could have gone. Carvalho's first challenge was tough, a red would have been harsh, a yellow was a bit soft, but he could have seen another for his challenge on Adriano later. I don't really think what Coentrao did was much of anything, certainly no worse than Fabregas on Alonso earlier. As for Carvalho being a scumbag, I don't think he intended to hurt Messi, I think he was just committing a professional foul to stop the break and get his team back behind the ball. He definitely knew he would get yellow and was possibly risking a red by doing it. Edit: Just saw the video posted earlier. Pepe definitely would have been sent off had the ref seen that. I think he was busy getting the yellow out of Callejon though and missed it. There is a slight chance that he could see some retroactive action taken by La Liga, but doubtful.

C'mon you can't compare anyone on the field to him, and it isn't the first time he has done shit like this. Scumbag indeed. Alot of RM players are... lets say playing on the "edge"

(often even fair tackles, but very scary to face) Pepe should be compared to Nigel de Jong.

That guy needs to be banned from football, scumbag. Totally agree with this. the guy is a fucking scumbag. he just can't get it through his tiny little dodo brain that someone is better than him. fucking dickhead should be banned from the game permanantly.........

I feel like van bommel is out to annoy his opponents and perhaps take advantage of the reffereeing (or lack of), but doesn't make anything personal and he is not out to injure anyone. I can see how people hate him, and i do hate on him too sometimes, but pepe is just so much worse.
