Just to say that watching Walcott running fast is not the quintessence of football.

I find the calcio for exemple much more intresting, the Ligua is so beautifull to watch with almost ALL the teams (not only Barca/Real) and there's great story lines in Ligue1 with Montpellier (25M budget wich is the 15th of ligue1) being second behind PSG (unlimited money) and on top of l'OM (100M) or Lyon (100M too). Just to say that watching Walcott running fast is not the quintessence of football. they listed Giroud for $60 mil lolololol.

This was a "joke" made by Loulou Nicolins the president, just to say they didn't want to sell him. By the way this is the porto strategy and this is th way you make money in football. Imagine you are a verry little club and you have a MONSTER striker. I'd get the opportunity to sell him at the right price. If he asks for 60 he wants 20-30, and this is his value, you should have seen his performances, he is monstruous, he walks on the water at the moment, he carrys the team like a beast, scored 14 (first striker) goals and is the 3rd best passer. You'll see when he will go to premier league ![]() And belhanda is pretty good to ![]()

But I can't comment on La Liga or Ligue 1 tho. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to watch matches from La Liga without Barca/Real or Ligue 1 matches in general and if you do manage to find a game it's usually an illegal stream or midway through the match they switch to show Barca/Real/Premier league (I wish I was kidding about that last bit, but this has happened a lot) XD

Already a pundit gave a brilliant joke: "There's only one way that Scholes can possibly regain match fitness in time for kick off. He's going to need a montage"

Just to say that watching Walcott running fast is not the quintessence of football. For me Serie A is way more interesting than Ligue 1 or La Liga. Reason being it's more competitive on the middle and back side stretch. La Liga isn't bad but personally I'd take Prem > Serie A > La Liga > Bundesliga > Ligue 1... But I agree, there should be some more discussion about foreign leagues seeing as they all have great teams. But let's be honest, the Prem is easily the most competitive league in the world. When you have a weekend where all the top teams lost games to middle/low teams, then you are dealing with a fecking exciting league. Very little dead weight in the Prem.
