I doubt you can enter any soccer stadium with a knife so easily and if so less chances are you get in the field, from my point of view Esteban kicked the guy so that he could calm down, maybe the ref and every official didn't see it that way, it's ok but it's wrong to suspend him, from my point of view.
Well today is Chelsea vs Tottenham! I hope Chelsea doesn't have a breakdown like the game vs Wigan... should be a great match, I wish Torres would score a goal....

I have never been jumped. but I really don't think this is fine. I guess you can define it as instinct, but only if you regard "desire to hurt guy who tried to hurt me" as instinctual. if a player punches another player and the other guy punches back, retaliating still gets you carded, even if it's just instinct to strike back. and this is different, because the other guy is already on the ground. it's an issue of a guy with too much of a hot temper being aggrevated, and the outcome is predictable, but that doesn't mean esteban doesn't have temper problems.
and also, just to be clear; I'm not sure I agree with the red card, because it's like, an offense not relating to the actual game but to something outside the game. but I think suspending him after the game is still appropriate -kinda like cantona.

Fc - twente vs Psv in 4 minutes! All go watch

AWW FML Minute 7 and Chelsea down 1-0... bad defending by Cech on the play, but good definition nonetheless.
But wait, we have Sturridge no problem 1-1 minute 22 YEAH!

I still don't know what to think about the event, but imo supporting his suspension while not being sure about the red card is a contradiction. In my opinion they should either suspend him from the actual and upcoming games or not penalize him at all.

Chelsea really stepping up their game this 2nd half, many important goal chances as of now! Villas-Boas has done an amazing job!

Drogba out, Torres in, O.o Please score a goal Torres...

1-1 ends up one of the London derbies, good game, Chelsea didn't take advantage of the many chances the had, still they gat some points.

Pavlyuchenko is definitely the laziest player ever. Seeing him play like that almost makes me miss Crouch.

Red card for the goalie has been revoked by the Dutch football federation, next week they will decide on the result of the match.
|
Red card has not been revoked. They just decided to not to ask for suspending him additional matches. Normally you would get 3 to 5 or so matches for such an offense. Pepe got suspended for 10 matches for something similar, though in different circumstances. And if he hadn't been restrained he would have also attacked the referee. In a sense that would have been similar to Douglas and his 6 match suspension.

I don't know what you are talking about, the card is revoked? You can read it all over the internet, but they say they don't know if the match is played with 10 or 11 players. They acknowledged it was a particularly circumstance.

He's good but way overhyped in my opinion. No way he's going to reach the level of Messi. You forget that Messi was already kicking ass in Spain when he was 17-18?
So far Neymar hasn't impressed me as Messi did back when he was 19.

Barcelona already made a 10M deposit on him, with the option to exclusively pick him up by 2014. If Santos wish to break this deal, they have to pay 20M to Barcelona.
