Mini games are fun. A well run standard CS server with good win rules and decent maps is a masterpiece. I've joined standard servers as the only person and proceeded to play until the game was 10 v 10. It's about delaying gratification to build something great. Gungame/deathmatch/wc3 is a cheap thrill that gets incredibly boring at a certain point. A good competitive standard CS game never gets boring.

Are there any intermediate places the server could be set so both UK and US can play? Leave it on normal money, people just need to learn to eco for a round or two.

i would love to see a tl server. i used to be a cal-o scrub and and i actually really miss scrimming and all that good stuff. that red/blue team idea sounds really fun.

If you don't start everyone with 16k, then AWPs aren't a problem. They never were a problem to me even on 16k servers though. Flashes + smokes + ak >>>> any random pub AWPer. If I felt annoyed at any time, I just picked up an AWP myself, and ripped a few heads off.

I <3 the AWP. Best multiplayer FPS weapon ever.

Allow AWPs but just make it $800 start with no betting. Only becomes an issue when people can freely re-buy AWPs each round. FF on too.

Standard maps plus strike, mill, season, contra, and russka would be absolutely amazing.

Agree, just make it totally standard. Struggle to find normal servers anymore. It'll be nice to just play with fellow TLers on a normal server.
