I've been thinking about going into the more serious CSS again.

Back then, I spent roughly 5-7 hours a day playing CSS, but without any clan and as a pubhero on different servers.

I'm really up for this. Could be fun to put up HLTV aswell, if it by any means are possible.

And just say if you need any admins. Been there too.

What is Jailbreak? Anyways, I would love to play on a TL CS:S server, and ideally would prefer a standard CSS (perma 16k not required) server.

Indeed sh4w. I never really got into source, but I played my fill of OGL/CPL matches and scrims in my youth.(mIRC/gotfrag and gametiger w00t w00t) Started playing in Beta 4 and continued till retail of the mod. Been an admin for a few different servers but never kept with it once my community was gone.

Excited about this server though, might convince me that I don't need an MMORPG to keep me satisfied.

Sounds like a great idea!

I'd love to get back into shooters since LoL's starting to lose it's appeal. It would be better to base te server in east coast US since it's going to create equal ping for west and Europe.. And I'm on east coast xD

This actually has me reinstalling css right now. I used to play a lot (co-owned a lan center where css and wow where the primary games, lots of really long days). Haven't played much at all the last few years. Hopefully I'm not so rusty as to be worthless

Firstly the two Head Admins have to be experienced at CSS, and cool guys, maybe some mods from TL would help.

One Admin would own Red team and one would own Blue

Each Admin trains their team ( controls tryouts, trainign etc.) And once a week there is a Red vs Blue Scrim (Clan Battle) that we stream on TL.

The competition would be fucking awesome, there would be streaming which people like and could draw in funds, and if people don;t care they just don;t join a team. HArms no one and could go well. It all hinges on good Head Admins (Maybe a seperate group called Red Team LEader/Blue Team Leader.

I would of course referee and maybe join a team with mah 1337 awp1n 5k33lz occasionally:D

that actually sounds kinda fun, it could also be EU vs NA instead of RED vsBLUE, or as someone already said, it could be 3 teams, zergs, terrans, and protoss, championship rounds would have an sc2 qualifier or something

I would play a TL server under the condition of no awp/auto. It would also be cool to have a 100k bank or inf. money, just because I like being to have optimal equipment every round when playing casually. Without the inf. money is fun (and how the game was designed) though.
