i've been working on punishing whiffed lariats (among other things) with c.fp > super too

I've pretty much been working on srk FADC ultra nonstop. At some point today most of my errors switched from being EXHados to EXsrks... which still lands but..... yeah... lol. At about 1 correct execution to three borks.

You're trying to do it too fast. The motion should be f,d,df+p,f+mp+mk,f,pause,d,df,f,d,df,f+ppp. There's a very wide window that will allow you to hit the ultra after the fadc. You can even afford to hold forward for a little bit to ensure that an EX shoryu doesn't come out instead.

By the way, f+mp+mk,f is 100% the superior way to fadc as opposed to mp+mk,f,f. The latter has you rapidly tapping directions during the mp+mk and this can mess up the motion for the move you want to do afterward (like turning a cl.mk into a f+mk). Once I changed up to the f+mp+mk,f method my fadc execution improved and girls found me more handsome and I got a pay raise and everything.

yeah. the best example is to go into training mode with akuma and do c.mk xx fireball FADC c.mp xx whatever. akuma's focus dash is unique in that he moves backwards a great deal when you hit focus, so if you don't cancel the focus as soon as possible, you'll be too far to confirm anything else. i just retain the forward from the fireball motion, then hit focus (while still holding forward), tap forward, bam, focus dash as fast as possible
