How do you expect to get help in this regard? This baffles me. So many comments, so many opinions, person states he's scared but likes it. And still wants some help. Facepalm.

DS2 is not scary, if that's what you wanted to hear. It's a good action game with decent atmosphere and amazing visual effects, yet it's not demanding on pc at all. But for someone who gets easily scared it could be scary...

I bought it, I'll try it. The graphics and gameplay are just too damn good, and discount is an added bonus. I'll probably soil my pants several times, but I hope it'll be fun.

Amazon has some good deals today. Battlefield 3 for 30 USD, Amnesia for 5. I'm going to get them both. Prices I listed are on sale as downloads, I think for physical copies it's more.

Terraria is -75% today which is really nice price for it. It is also getting a massive patch adding tons of stuff very soon. If you don't already have it, do buy it now.

Steam is also doing daily wishlist giveaways now where you can win top 10 of your wishlist every day.

Brink is also free this weekend, plus being heavily discounted at 75% off. Not sure if I can really recommend it, seeing as I don't own it myself and have only ever played it on it's last free weekend earlier this year and wasn't too blown away by it to say the least.

But, at around £4 for the game and £5 for the game plus all the DLC, it might give some people some good value.

Brink's a modern tragedy, it's not worth $5 because no one will play it past this weekend, just like the last free weekend. It could have been a great game based on what Splash Damage has done in the past, but it's not. It's by far the worst game they've ever made

I had issues with the mouse accuracy, if I can put it that way, in dead space 1. However, I liked the game and pushed through it; you get used to it after a while. Really fun game, good atmosphere. About 8.5/10 for me

I also played dead space 2. DS2 is pretty much the same type of game as DS1, just way more polished. With no control issues whatsoever, it plays much better than dead space 1, it looks a bit better too.

The series is an experience I'd recommend to all gamers, but if you are a bit unsure about whether the FOV/Controls of DS1 would bother you, I'd simply say forget DS1, grab DS2 and enjoy a really solid game. DS2 even has a 'DS1 in 5 mins' kind of thing built into it to get you up to speed.

I also bought limbo for $2 and all I can say is meh... Finished it in 3hours. Nothing ground breaking. The supposedly controversial ending left me entirely nonplussed.. I guess it's worth it at $2, but I wouldnt bother otherwise.

Terraria is a lot of fun. I have 80 hours on my copy. The new patch is cool. It is well worth $2.50 if you like exploring mines.

dungeon siege 3 on -60% (down to 20€), is that any good? haven't heard any publicity about that title whatsoever i believe, which is weird for a 50€ full price title.

It has been previously on sale in the official capcom store (source) and has been given out for free to every registered competitor at EVO (a major fighting game event)
