That's the third one in the series, the first one is 100% animu. Sadly, the first two aren't available for PC, but I think you might enjoy the third one more without having seen the second one, as there are a lot of similar surprises.
That said, if you could play the second one (Virtue's Last Reward) on 3DS or Vita, I would go for that instead. The first one (999) is great fun but not reeeeeally necessary for understanding the rest.

Not quite a Game question, but...
Looking at getting a new mouse with the sales on now, and the Logitech G502, Corsair M65 or Razer Deatheradder Elite are floating around what I'm looking for (extra 4-6 customizable buttons, good DPI, $60-70CAD range).
Any recommendations from anyone who knows mice?

Insurgency is 1.99€ // $1.99. Apparently really good take on realistic FPS.

I don't know what I'll buy. The only thing that is a given for me is the most recent Vive la France! expansion for Euro Truck sim 2; as it will be needed by the map mod ProMods eventually (they re-use assets from the expansions in their own areas)
Thinking of Planet Coaster and Batman - The Telltale Series. Any thoughts on those.

I'm getting the endless legend DLCs and the last 4 life is strange episodes. The first one for free was a nice feat and the reviews got me interested. Been a while since I got emotional over something fictional, let's see if it delivers.
I'm already long at the point where I have more games than I can play though.

It's been a while since I've bought anything from a Steam sale. I don't own a PC that can run most AAA releases well, and a lot of the good indie games end up in Humble Bundles eventually.

Picked up Deus Ex Mankind Divided for 20 bucks (super nice pickup here imo), Dust: Elysian Trail, and Brothers: Tale of Two Sons both for less than 3 dollars.

I don't know if someone has posted this yet but Metro Redux bundle is like $5 on Steam right now. If you didn't play the originals, it's a must buy. Or if you're like me and just want a good excuse to play them through for the 3rd time. The games are fun. The story is awesome. And the books are great. Give Metro and Dmitry Glukhovsky a try. (:

The Long Dark is -50%. It's an early access game, but the single player episodes will start coming out some time next year so I'm wagering that it's the cheapest it's going to be before release.
For those that don't know it, it's one of the poster children of early access done right, with sandbox and challenge modes that are games in their own right being used to test mechanics for the campaign.
