EPTI gotta say though, Borderlands 1 was one of my favorite games ever but I got the second tier of the bundle to get Borderlands 2 and it doesn't seem nearly as fun to me

2K Games and Gearbox have beenn slick and strategic with their creative price decreases of 3 different games released in 2009. 2012, and 2014 all with their own special DLC formulae. So Slick and creative that they make it look easy. They moved it from the defunct GameSpy platform over to Steam. Sometimes Gearbox does some pretty slimey stuff. When it comes to Borderlands... they treat the franchise like its their only son. | ||

interestingly, the price to unlock the 2nd tier of the Borderlands Humble Bundle has moved up from $4.60 to $6.25. so those that got in early got the best price...and its still lower than that $9 offer in the SteamSale for BL1 and BL2. and part of your payment can go towards the National Video Game Museum. http://www.vghmuseum.org/category/news/classic-game-news/ | ||

They ain't landing a man on the moon here. Watching countless other companies stumble, fumble, and bumble their discount pricing on much simpler product lines even in the last few weeks makes 2K-Games look like geniuses by comparison though. | ||

i like the game alone or in a group and its fun to turn on "open world mode" right after a Steam Sale and run through the game with various #s of players dropping in and out as i go. | ||

here is the perspective on why BL1 is better than BL2. again, i prefer BL1 somewhat over BL2... and my view is amplified in this video. BL1 has explosive as a pure elemental type. BL2 does not. BL2 is still really good. i'm not like many in here who have the mentality of a 5 year old that when 1 game is better than the other game "totally fuckin' sucks nOOb crap moron garbage". just my perspective on BL1 being SOMEWHAT BETTER than BL2. | ||
