Its a great game, worth the money but theres no chance it will not hit AT LEAST a 50% disscount on the holiday sale (maybe even 60%-66%). it depends how much time do you have, how much do you want to play Skylines AND how many games do you have that could keep you going till the Holidays

I got Grey Goo yesterday and would rather start that game off via campaign first, then there's other stuff like Darkest Dungeon, VN's, and maybe Ori and the Blind Forest when that discounts more; plus I got a ton of other non-steam games I need to get through too It is tempting to just get Cities: Skylines now but that's usually the trap of these sales, to purchase then never getting around to play it. I will likely wait as these city building games usually take a good chunk of time to play as well On June 15 2015 00:25 Necro)Phagist( wrote: So am I the only one Extremely disappointed with the daily milestone deals unlocked through the mini game. I mean I've enjoyed actually playing the mini game as a time killer but the actual sales it unlocks are all pretty bad imo. I haven't seen one decent game yet. I ended up buying a 60% discounted VN called *eden... must be good based on its reviews and its original high price

There definitely have been good games from the milestone sales (Rock of Ages and Forced from today's are both decent games, plus King's Bounty is up for tomorrow's). They might not be *well-known* games, but if they're intentionally not repeating Daily or Flash sales, the games are going to be less well-known.

Also Farcry 4 is damn good as well and at 50% off I'd reccomend getting but not nearly as good a deal as Farcry 3. Weird the tag on the frontpage for Farcry says 40-45% off but Farcry 3 is listed at 75% off and Farcry 4 at 50% off?

Guess if that's as low as it goes I will wait till the next sale or maybe until it becomes at least 50% Also, does anyone have or own the VN called *eden? It's discounted at 60% at $8.79. For such an expensive VN, it must be good according to most reviews. Is it a recommended buy now? Skylines is a daily deal atm so it wont go cheaper. Its a relevantly new game that is very popular so its no real surprise it is this high still. That said its one of the best games in its genre, its not a hard game as such. Its almost impossible to fail imo but esp the traffic is challenging enough to keep you occupied while your trying to build a gigantic and/or beautiful city. Thanks for the recommendation, it was on my wishlist as well. Bought now ![]() ------------------------------------- For anyone who is into 4X games, Endless Legend is on -50% right now. It definitely blew Civ:BE out of the water in late 2014, still gets content updates and got alot of praise from different gaming pages. Especially as its not just "orcs and elves in space" :D, but got it's own unique races that all offer distinct playstyles. Quality (8 factions) instead of quantity (35 who all play the same...).

Can't agree, Far Cry 3 was boring to tears after good few hours. But I managed to get 90% of upgrades during first two hours, and then had absolutely no reason to go anywhere. Money? Problem was how to spent anything, even when buying maps. No need for hunting. Repetitive missions didn't help either. And fuck that main hero, worst main character EVER. Wanted to kill him so badly. The fact that the rest of NPC were bad (except for you-know-who) or simply annoying didn't help. Gunplay was good and fun, but killing enemies can only work alone for a time. just my few words on that, carry on ![]()

Super Meat boy and Plants vs Zombies also look to be good picks, but I think I'm gonna skip them. Played PvZ on console and beat it 100% already, and Super Meat boy would just frustrate me more than anything. Doesn't look like anything really good today. Maybe Far Cry 3, but that goes on sale every 3-6 months, and I don't need it right now. It might go lower eventually and then become a must-have for me.

I love Farcry 3, I found most of the NPC characters fun to interact with, thought the story was good and the missions were extremely fun to play through. Probably has my favourite all time villian in video games The only characters I didn't actually like, ironically enough were the main guy you play and his friends. Did not like the idea of playing some spoiled rich kid twat, but he does grow considerably and you don't even think about it while gunning people down so meh. I still say great game def worth playing even at full price but this cheap is a steal imo.

Similar stuff with witcher3... It has an AWESOME -10% on release, still costing >60 Euro on steam... Now you can buy it any regular store (real world stores) for 45 Euro...
