The current weekly humblebundle is really good too. Bundlestars has a fair amount of really bad bundles, but there has been quite a few gems recently, the allstar bundle was great too.
Currently the Surpise Attack Bundle http://www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/surprise-attack-bundle/ came out and it is pretty good too.

Well not everything really. The very first HoMM and the chronicles are missing. Also the HoMM 3 is the HD version which doesn't not have the expasions with it so the HD version isn't really that great.

The HD version is also missing the random map generator, missing a faction, poor multiplayer, and you have to click separately for each space you want to move on the world map. It's definitely not a great project. GoG version is much better from what I understand.

The HoMM3 "HD remake" is pretty bad. All it does is introduce resolution options and resized sprites, and the cost for that is worse in-game functionality and accessibility, all expansions are missing, and some control issues were introduced. It doesn't even actually update the textures, or do anything to qualify as "HD" in any way. It was re-released because they wanted to put it on mobile, hence the product you get.
The HD mod for the original game introduces widescreen resolution options, and you get all of the content. Highly recommended you do that instead, and if you've never played HoMM3 before, you should. It really is that freaking good.

homm7 coming out soonish, hype!

Hm, according to my calculations, the next really amazing HoMM title should be 8.
1, 2, 3, 5, the obvious next number in that series is 8.

Fibonacci sequence right? Minus an initial 1.

Yeah the GoG version is way better for listed reasons, the HD remake was really crappy and the mod is way better. Also a lot of people don't know about the chronicles which are single player campaigns expanding the lore. Sadly when Ubisoft took over they scrapped the story in the old games and created their own lore. While HoMM 5 is pretty decent, with the expansions, both HoMM 6 and Might and Magic X are pretty much play only if you're a diehard fan.
ed: Yeah 7 is in beta now aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, let's hope someone else than Ubi does 8th so that we can actually get good HoMM game.

if you preorder, you get beta access. but, given homm6, not sure i will preorder.

Question: Has there ever been a discounted DLC bundle for Mass Effect 2 and/or 3? Doing my replay of the series and wanting to complete it, but the DLC is fucking expensive even now.

Enhanced Editions for Witcher and Witcher 2 are basically free on steam.(2.7 TL after %85 discount for me, so it should be around a dollar) Playing them before witcher 3 would be a good introduction to series and lore for witcher universe. I would definetly recommend both of them. Many people dislike fighting mechanics but they are good games nonetheless.

Mass Effect 2 DLC was a pricing experiment by EA in 2010 pretty much. They wanted to eliminate wasted profits from "used" game sales by implementing day 1 DLC to try to force the used game buyers into giving EA money via DLC. At the time, it's marketing scheme was a little bit ahead of its time I think and many games followed its pricing model.
