Yeah, when you disable the speed limiter on your truck (which can be done in the in-game settings), more powerful motors can make your truck go pretty fast. Tickets (for speeding and such) needs to be disable in the config file though

Will get around to #2 sooner or later. (If I get to recommend more. Dota 2, free game, so no loss to the person. That and #1 are easily the games I've spent the most time on ever. The walking dead, good story, just enough game play to appeal to gamers and non gamers.)

Racing Truck With a Trailer 2* Goal is to get it there in one piece, without damaging the goods, as fast as humanly possible.

Would like to know if getting this game will save me money from having to play Need for Speed. It's the only game that's allowed me to buy hundreds of more games. Well, that and lounge.

Pretty satisfying. It's more like you will save money from having to buy Burnout series

No, but if speed cameras catch you speeding you'll get a ticket. You also get a ticket if you crash with other vehicles and other things, but there is no "physical cop" inside the game On January 01 2015 19:56 bluegarfield wrote: Didn't realize that tickets can be disable, so I just raced anyway and eat a bunch of tickets XD I didn't know that either until recently, but apparently you can do so if you go to (by default on windows at least) C:\Users\[NAME]\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\[Some combo of numbers and letter that represents your profile] , open config.cfg and change the value of g_police to 0

Speeding along at 170kph, downshifting and braking like mad to not rearend somebody, taking shortcuts on the far side of the road, taking wide turns to try and not flip the trailer at 150kph, all of these things are much more fun than maintaining cruising speed and driving safely.

It's just too short, still worth the money of course because glados. But there's games that get you way more content for the same amount of money.

All three of the games have drops that are worth a lot of money and all three of them have drops that are worth one cent.

But there's games that get you way more content for the same amount of money. I used to think that way when I was younger. Now a days I am more interested in how good it is, not how long. A great game can be 2-3 hours long and worth ~$15, same as a movie ticket. Most of the time it doesn't cost that much though. One of the better games I've played recently was 4 hours, replaying it 2 times. Games like DA:I are great as well but I would not recommend them to everybody since they are too long. Anything past 10h I would hesitate to recommend due to the time investment in the game. If I know the person is a fan of the style, sure, otherwise not.

There are games that I PERSONALLY enjoyed more, but without knowledge of someone's preferences would not recommend as "the one game to buy".
