Transistor, gameplay-wise, is completely different from Bastion. While Bastion was more of an RPG pewpew shoot em that was really shallow in gameplay, Transistor is more of a combat based around pauses and many different abilities able to be used at once, though people would argue whether or not that is better or worse than Bastion. Stylistically, it's got a similar art style but with its own unique flair that makes it easily distinguishable from Bastion, and is also really fucking cool. And then the music is amazing as well. Yeah buy Transistor.

Game is certainly not for everyone though but I'm finding the single-player extremely addicting so far. I haven't really got into multiplayer properly yet but that could change as I get better grasp of the gameplay and get bored at single-player, so far I've just gotten my ass kicked in the couple matches I tried.

I still got Bioshock Infinite DLC to play and FC4 to start on, so I guess that should suffice for now.

Bastion I would describe as hack n slash while Transistor was closer to turn base. So pretty different games imo.

Have you tried any of the big single player mods yet? because that will easily add many months to its lifespan

I tend to get kind a overwhelmed by the amount of mods there is and won't bother trying them out unless there's something specific I'm looking for. Is there mods I should absolutely try out?

Floris mod pack and Vanilla Extended are both pretty good at expanding on the original game itself. It keeps the original map but adds more units/sounds/weapons/items and all sorts of things. for total conversions, Prophesy of Pendor is my absolute favorite, it's a much more challenging world but doesn't change too many of the original mechanics. Other SP mods like Brytenwalda or the Warhammer one (I forget the name) are also very interesting conversions. But if you want something NEW but FAMILIAR prophesy of pendor will scratch that itch : )

Other than GTA5, I think I'm done for a while :D thanks for the recommendations See ? The sales are still awesome, is just that most of us have like 450+ games and have been in countless Steam Sales so we own most games :p

Prison Architect Standard Bioshock Infinite + Season Pass Saints Row IV - Game of the Century Edition Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Christmas Bundle Serious Sam BFE Gold Dishonored GOTY Age of Empires II HD + The Forgotten Expansion Transistor Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons Shadow Warrior -------- I know I bought way too many games when I have so many I haven't played in my account. The good thing is I just bought an ASUS G750 Gaming Laptop so I now have a reason to play games from my Steam library. I had to hold myself back from Shadow of Mordor, Divinity, and Wolfenstein because I'm waiting for them to go on sale more and I doubt I will play all the above games + other steam games in my library before the Summer Sale.
