Gunpoint is fun for a while with a clever mechanic behind it. It's not really hard, but i found it to be entertaining. If you do not absolutely hate the style of graphics (I know some people do, but since you already ask about the game) it's not a waste of money at this point.

And damn, Divinity:OS. I am really positively surprised by this. Playing the coop mode is alot of fun and I see some replayability there with different approaches to the story and/or different characters. Can recommend picking this up now or when it gets a bit cheaper.

I found gunpoint to be very enjoyable, solid sneaky puzzlesolving stuff.

2 questions, i own Fallout New Vegas (Normal), if i buy Ultimate Edition does it gives me a whole new game ? or adds the DLC to my normal game ?

And on the same matter, are the DLC worth it ? the reviews are quite decent, but besides Point Lookout, the DLC on FO3 were pretty bad

EDIT: wait what ? i cant buy Ultimate Edition, but the DLC on their own are much higher :/ wtf ?

New Vegas DLC is definitely worthwhile for the price you're paying on sale. I don't know how buying it off steam works if you already have the base game (I got a key for Ultimate Edition off of GMG a while back and then redeemed the code on steam, and that worked fine).

Not a sale exactly but everyone who bought nuclear throne will get a free copy to gift two days later from now. So it is basically a 2pack for %50 discount. Here is the promise from the dev.
I can recommend this game if you like roguelikes. It is basically binding of isaac with much faster gameplay but unfortunately less depth. It is on early access and they are releasing a new version almost every week.

Good New Vegas DLC: Old World Blues, Dead Money and Gun Runner Arsenal.

I guess this was it for me this Sale. Wanted Shovel Knight, Wasteland 2, Divinity: Original Sin, Metro 2033 Redux, FarCry4, Alien: Isolation and Banner Saga, but none was up for a reasonable price to me.

The only one of these that had an unreasonable price is Metro 2033 redux imo. I got the original for 2.50 before it was popular or something and now they want 12.50 for a graphics update. Can't balk at 50% off recently released games though.

I preordered DS2 and didn't regret it!

If anyone doesn't yet have Witcher 2, they should definitely pick it up on the current Steam sale. It's a gorgeous game with a great story, imaginative world and some great side-quests (go spend time in the rose garden, if you can...). The combat can be cranked up until it offers a nice challenge too, if you're into that kind of thing.

The Witcher 2 is a game that can be bought at full price, if it's on discount it's a must buy. One of the more enjoyable RPGs I've played in a while, especially once you get used to combat. Witcher 2 got everything right: difficult but not impossible combat (weak creatures can kill quite easily in numbers), meaningful skill trees, meaningful crafting and exploration as well. Your decisions influence what happens in the game: you can avoid fighting in some circumstances through dialogue if you so wish.

Really an excellent game.

Lichdom Battlemage its really cool ! You really feel like a Mage for once, combining spells, doing combos, etc...

Child of Lighr its a good game too, the combat its pretty good and the story its quite decent

I dont know anything about Wasteland 2 :/

Spec Ops the Line, besides being your typical TPS, it has a very impactful story, it makes you feel bad for doing what you do in military shooters and ask you if you ever knew what you were doing, while the gameplay its pretty bland, the story push you through the game !

I know I've had this conversation before, in this very thread actually but there's no way to search through the hundreds of pages to find it, but is it worth it even if I've never played the first? Speaking of the first is it just not on steam? I'm on the Witcher 1's steam page thing and there's no option to purchase it

I would say that it immerse you more into the game, but the prologue does a VERY GOOD job to give a general idea of the story.

It is "interesting" ? Yes, essential ? No,not at all

I would still buy both games thou, as Witcher 1 its damn good too

The Witcher 1 does not add much to the history of the Witcher 2 and the true is that the W2 is MILES away better that the first game.

But if you are an avid RPG fan, is not a bad choice IMO.

But seriously, if you dont have The Witcher 2, WTF is wrong with you....GO GET IT NOW!! --------->http://store.steampowered.com/app/20920/

i absolutely dreaded the combat and alchemy/potion system in The Witcher 2. So much, that I never finished that game. It felt unintuitive, slow and annoying. Liked the part of the story I got to play before stopping due to those mechanics.

What? Witcher 2 is the only Game I have 100% Steam-Achievements. I loved it! I played through it like 4-5 times. Loved the Combat and Alchemy, even though the Alchemy was too casual for me compared to Witcher 1 Alchemy.o_0

Nah I started with W2 and just went with the flow. Some of the story elements might seem a bit off but it doesn't stop you from understanding what on earth is going on. There are lots of mentions of lore that actually require you read the books tbh.

The game makes you think you can ignore combat skills. Don't be fooled. You need to level up at least 1 weapon because of mandatory boss fights ala Deus Ex:HR.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death
