Nah I bought the original game day of release and it's telling me I already have that game, nothing about the dlcs. I might try buying as a gift. Edit: DAO is a really good game but it has its fair share of flaws. Nowhere near the best game of the last 10 years. It is definitely worth the money though.

In case you guys didn't knew, you have to contribute points to your team for a chance to win your wishlist aka need to craft badges. So if you don't craft any badges, you chances are still zero.

Most (all?) games on Steam store everything locally, mostly so you can play offline. Skyrim's also one of those games that will actually function if you separate it entirely from Steam (namely with custom loaders, like the Script Extender, which I would recommend in all cases). Also, I'm interested in Stanley Parable...just not sure if it's worth $6. Don't mind paying that much, just not sure if the game has that much play value to it (I've also been avoiding in-depth reviews for it, so...). Any comments from people that have the game?

DAO was ok. It was definitively a good game, and is probably worth a buy. Best game of the century? Probably not.

I can log into Dark Souls 1 right now, and it says that it is connected to g4wl. I have no idea if it is lying to me, or if that is strictly necessary. I can still play the game, though. So worst case you have to make a shitty g4wl account and deal with that crap from time to time.

It does still require it, Im currently locked out of my DS account so I had to pirate it since microsoft refuses to help me. you can create an "offline" profile but you can't save your progress.
