so how is Trine and Trine 2 everyone? they are 3.74$ on steam now.
I do enjoy platform kind of games but for some reason I always have doubts when watching Trine trailer. isit worth it?

and besides multiplayer, how does it fare as a single player game (poor soul always play games alone :-< )? well my taste is nothing special though, just something like metroid, cave story, dust, spelunky or braid is pretty enjoyable enough for me.

Is it any good?

i think it is a good game.
maybe a 7 for me.

The best part is the great details on the world atmosphere.
You will understand what I mean once you play it, some really weird looking characters actually reflects her mental conditions etc

Combat was pretty good, few weapon options and all of them are distinctly different.

very nice dress design :p

Overall a great game, definitely worth that price

yo thanks man, been playing for a bit now. Really like the atmosphere and the character/level design. money well spent!

Both Trine are beautiful games, they are really worth it if you like platformers and even more if you like art design. It's a dreamlike fantasy world.

Didn't play it myself, but a coworker really liked it - and he isn't a fan of hack'n'slash in the first place. So for 5 bucks, I would say: try it.

Only played Trine (Trine 2 is waiting on my gog acc until I have time) and I really enjoyed it. It's a rather short game (I spent like 10 hours to complete it) but it nicely couples fun mechanics of a 2d plattformer with a great atmossphere. I would recommend it.

Will definitely recommend this very accessible roguelike. As mentioned, it's free and if you wanna support the developer, you can pick it up on Steam and gain access to the few, non-gamebreaking donor perks.

The Steam sale usually features the complete Trine collection for dirt cheap (under $4).

Its a nice Action-RPG, but its singleplayer and you will come to a point where you just don't want to play anymore. Its not like D3 or PoE where you can play 100+ hours.

Sins of a Solar Empire games are 75% off on Steam.

Sins ... Trinity -> $4.99

Sins ... Rebellion (standalone expansion + Trinity) -> $9.99

Q: Do people still play Trinity online (or is it dead)?

Typically there will be one Summer Sale coming July, they might do a Easter sale but it's uncommon so I'm not betting on it.

Im looking for a game thats like the lego games, but with less puzzles and more combat, any ideas?

I enjoy the different characters and the brawling, but being a kids game and all, its not very difficult and focused on those "puzzles".

It's not out yet (and will probably take a while) but Everquest: Next might be something for you to look forward.
