The best that I can say about it is that it's extremely competent but shallow. I played it for about 6-8 hours or so then stopped due to complete lack of motivation. The setting is interesting but not exploited well (in terms of atmosphere), the story is workmanlike, and the gameplay is straightforward stealth stuff: nothing truly new. If you really enjoy stealth action games, you might still find it worth your time investment but I didn't; I'd rather replay Deus Ex: HR (or even the original Deus Ex with the recently released high-res mod).
I'm still trying to catch up on a lot of games, and I was just wondering: between Bastion, FTL and Hotline Miami, which one is the best? I know they're all different genres but I'm having a hard time choosing which to get and I can't afford to buy all of them.
Out of those three, I would say Bastion is the best, with Hotline Miami close behind. I did a pretty in-depth blog about Hotline Miami if you need more information on it.

Bastion without a doubt. It's one of the best indie games released "lately". FTL is good if you might be into a very modern roguelike that doesn't feel like one (hurpdurp), Hotline Miama is... well.. ACTION. =D
Sounds good, guess I'll go with Bastion. I was leaning towards FTL at first before cause it seems like a cool concept but I'll probably pick that one up later. Thanks!

Bastion is a lot better if you like story. The story in bastion is presented in such a good way, it creates a superb atmosphere. Ys is a pretty fun action game. It can be pretty challenging too, but the environments are a little monotonous imo

FTL is definitively a good game, too. However, out of those 3 you mentioned, bastion is the must-play choice.
Also, what is the sixth game i do not get to see today, because i live in Germany and we have retarded game violence laws?
I can see Train Simulator, DoW, Blood Bowl, Dota2 and Dungeon Defenders.

oh boy I think I've made a mistake getting darksiders 2, it's aparently close to unplayable with mouse and keyboard, the camera keeps snapping all over the place exept the place I want it, reading up on the comment section it seems the only way to play this game is with an xbox controller? wtf...

Unfortunately i had the same experience, gameplay was fine and content itself seemed ok. But the M/KB controls were so terrible, i couldn't put more than a few hrs into it before getting a headache. Sorry to say it was not a good port at all. Limited graphics options as well.

I knew about the limited graphic options, but restricting a pc game to a controller without notification is just silly, I'm trying to get a refund but to be honest I don't have alot of faith in that :/
