Yes. The rule on all Steam sales is to never buy a game unless it's on a daily or a flash sale (or it's the last day).

Played and loved the first one but kinda worried that with all the extra publicity this one has its gonna turn into a bit of a troll fest online
There is on thread on TL for NS2 (look in games&sports) but overall the community is very nice, better than on NS1, which was by far the best community i have met online.
You never played with the competitive side of NS1 then ^^
I hiiiiighly recommend NS2, if it goes on sale over the week, pick it up asap

Meh! Dawnguard is ok it adds a questline and some other stuff, but its not that great only if you really like Vampires. Heartfire is like the Sims. Its fun if you have a 150hrs Savegame with lots of stuff. You can build a house and place all your amor/weapons you got over these hrs in a room. Heartfire would be worth like 2.50€ for me. Dawnguard maybe 5€.
BTW I've got 5 Copies of DotA 2 sitting in my steam inventory, so if you still want one or have a friend who does, shoot me a PM and I'll gift it.
edit - I'm happy to give them away with nothing in return, but if you have any spare copies of other games, that would also be very welcome. I'm currently interested in checking out Awesomenauts and Chivalry, for example.

If you can play a game with aged graphic, yes definitely. Still the best stealth game. There are also a shitton of fan missions for the first 2, though I dont know if that works for Steam.

Also there are GREAT mods out there which basically make Thief look like Thief 2 with further improved graphics. Honestly the Thief 2 graphics aren't that horrible with some tweaks on top simply because the gameplay is just that good and fun. <3
Have yet to find a game that is up to par with Thief 2 (my fav of the series) in terms of being an ego-sneaker.
Holy shit... that's like... Skyrim for 12€. My god.
Im in Australia it wont let me buy any way around this?
Also good to see War of Roses on sale pretty tempting but hard to decide between that and chivarly
As someone who fought with that question for weeks on, I recommend chivalry. Chivalry is the first game I ever played that managed to create satisfying AND skill based melee combat. Archery is cooler done in WotR but that's pretty much the only thing.
But.. that... melee... combat. The gameplay in general literally reminds me of big names like Q3 and CS 1.6, the system is just THAT well done.

Shoot, was busy so I didn't check the thread. I haven't played Heroes VI, but I've played all the previous ones. The main difference is that King's Bounty is a continuous scripted campaign with boss fights, etc. rather than single missions and maps like in Heroes V. You're just kind of free to venture out and explore, to a certain limit (there are areas that are blocked off until you beat parts of the game).
The other difference is in managing your funds, because in King's Bounty when you can't afford more troops you have to restart. In Heroes it's kind of a battle for gold/gem mines while waiting for monsters to restock. But in King's Bounty what you see is what you get, so you have to trade efficiently in battle, make more money than you lose.
As for which one is better, it's hard to say. You can't hot-seat in King's Bounty and there are no multi-player maps. But there's a greater degree of customization and management for your hero, imo. You have to build him up like in a traditional RPG.

I'm curious about Fallen Enchantress as well, has anyone played this?
Aw shucks, I bought Black ops 2 right before the sale. Could've saved 50%! Oh well, at least I got Max Payne 3 for 75% off, hopefully I am able to snag some other video games before it's over.

its only black ops 1 that is on sale. Activision isnt that insane yet.

Activision is so greedy, they never put the cod games on sale for deep discounts. Modern Warfare 1 is so old now and the cheapest it's been is $10. I like playing the campaign in cod games, but they never put any of the black ops games or mw3 for $10. $20 still too much for me to pay for blops 1.

I played over 30hrs. Make sure you play on DeusEx (Hard Difficultiy) and try to go for the "Pacifist" Achievement (Kill no one through the whole game)
I have mark of the ninja and it's awesome. It is a 2d stealth game, it's difficult and has a high replay value. The only thing that I don't like is that it's a direct xbox360 port so the keyboard controls aren't the best but just decent. It's worth it to pick up imho.
