I only know the series because there was a game on the super nintendo with that name. The newer Prince of Persia games are very worthwhile imo, though they deviate quite a bit from the old version your thinking of. In general the new games revolve around trying to make the player feel like a badass jumping around/climbing the levels while dealing with occasional monsters that attack you. The time mechanics are very well done and act as both an "Oh Shit" button as well as a neccesary tool to complete some puzzles (I say puzzles, but don't expect anything that will have you scratching you head more than a few seconds). The first game in the Sands of Time series is the most similar to the old SNES version in that it is mostly a platform jumper with some kinda limited (but pretty cool to watch) combat. After that they combat gets much more involved and more fun, but they all have a similar feel in the acrobatics of how you get around and fight. I definitely recommend, though I cant speak for the most recent 2 releases as I have not tried them. The last two are not much to speak of. Many don't like the 2008 version, I personally thought it was ok with spoiled potential and quite forgettable and if you are looking for a challange or great story it's not for you. The forgotten sands offered some improvements but still had a pretty generic storyline and the combat soon becomes quite repetative. The whole pack is barely any cheaper than the individual games for this sale so if someone wants to try out the series they should definatelly pick up the first three (the sands of time, warrior within and the two thrones). The other two just depends how much of a PoP fan you are or how much you care about the graphics. The last game at 2,49 euro is not a horrible deal in any case.

There is no reason whatsoever to play any other heroes than the third one which is simply perfect. Also AoE was allready on sale.

I really loved those games a LOT, spent so many hours on them, really worth it imo. And yes do not even hesitate about Super Meat Boy, I have 60 hours played on it and I hade a ton of fun, so for this money it's almost a steal

When a game goes on sale on Steam, it's almost certain that other games from the franchise go on sale as well. I don't really care about H6, but I already own KB, and would rather have H5 on my steam account than AoE3, esp since AoE3 was already on sale 2 days ago. Chances are I won't buy any of them regardless of which one wins, but I'd be most likely to make use of a Heroes franchise sale, so I voted for H6.

Some games just dont need sequels(at least when it comes to the multiplayer part) but obviously nobody can blame them to release them anyways.

![]() Anyway to save time I'll list some of the games I have: Valve pack All total wars Basically all bioware rpgs Elder scrolls All of the humble bundles with their extras and what not (If you dont know what humble bundle is, google it. It's amazing ) I was thinking of getting civiization but im not sure which one to get. I would enjoy a Casual shooter or even an advanced one. Would crysis be good? I will probably get super meat boy ![]() Aged graphics are not an issue to me, I just enjoy solid gameplay or good immersive stories. Prefer both but its rare and I probably already have it ^^ about 90 games on steam. Thanks for you help. EDIT# Just realised I have super meat boy from humble bundle, haha I did not realise that.

I am asking you good people for final recommendations of games to consider for today and the final sales tomorrow. I play most games from VVVVVV to ARMA 2 so most games are an interest to me. Repetitive games are fine as long as its short enough. Deus Ex, The Witcher both really good rpg's. I'd say go for civ 4 but civ 5 isn't bad but I just didn't like the diplomacy and lack of religion.

Sixth is not bad, but it lacks some things like city screens and more castles. 6 came out unfinished, despite patches it still feels like some sort of beta, that aside it's mechanically quite good (more units per week from upg building etc.) but putting those spells into level skills was annoying choice IMO, while it works, it drains so many points from other useful abilities/passives to make decent spellcaster hero. At least dipping into some single good spell as combat hero feels good now, but at what cost... I just hope they'd push out bigger patches fast, right now it seems like they are VERY slowly trying to repair the damage, bandaids slammed on some balance and common problems. Idk, at 50% it's not a bad deal if you barely play the campaign to half way and can enjoy it. (Very cheesy plot/voice acting, pretty decent triggers etc.)

Dawn of War 2 is absolutely terrible. If you buy it, it's going to be for the single player which is ok. The multiplayer is the worst I've ever seen in any game. Dawn of War 1 is quite good but very few people are left online. Hm I haven't played DoW2 in quite a while, but from what I remember multiplayer is pretty cool. I played it casually for a a while and always had great fun playing with friends. The survival gamemode is pretty fun too. Considering buying retribution myself, but I'm not sure on it.
