I've never played a Thief game or heard about them but they seem to have some good praise behind them, not sure if they're worth picking up today? I love retro games and old stuff, so I don't care about graphics or older game mechanics, just want to hear some people's opinions on it before I decide to purchase. If the idea of a medieval Splinter Cell (old Splinter Cell) turns you on, buy this series. This is the granddaddy of all new age stealth games and arguably the best stealth series period. You aren't supposed to fight much in this game. It is all about getting from A to Z unnoticed.

I can't remember if the process entails just copying all the files over, or re-installing steam. You can make a copy of all your game information so you don't have to re-download everything, then re-install Steam in D.

Yep, the Thief franchise is phenomenal. 2 was my favorite overall, but Deadly Shadows has one of the scariest levels ever crafted (yes just as or more scary than Amnesia). The only problem with Thief is the graphics are just so dated, the gameplay is still top notch though. If stealth gameplay is your thing and you don't mind old school graphics then you can't go wrong.

![]() Assassins Creed II ~5$ Bastion ~3.75$ The Binding of Isaac (With all DLC) ~ 2$ Half Life 2- 2.49 Just Cause 2 (with all DLC) ~ 7-8$ Magicka- ~2.50 Orcs Must Die GOTY (with DLC)~5$ Portal 2 - ~ 5$ The Witcher 2- ~16$ I've spent like almost 50$ haha on so many games O>o but when i step back it is basically 1 brand new AAA title, but still... all the great deals making me a bit greedy T_T on another note... for today 3 games caught my eye: Stalker (the newest one, I hear its quite good), dungeons of dreadmore, then recettear. note tho, i never really put much time into the dungeon crawlers just from lack of exposure i guess as I wasnt much of a gamer back when those were more "mainstream", so that may affect whether or not they are good purchases... thoughts?

GSC no longer has the rights to STALKER, so even if a gorillion million people buy it they get nothing.
