? I can max out pretty much anything with a 460. There must be something else, or it's really poorly optimised.

manner up dude. no matter what you think about the graphics card it has enough power to provide a decent fps rate at this lowgraphics game. unfortunatly i have nothing figured out yet. the only game i have problems right now. i will tell you as soon as i find out more. turned of antivirus and everything that could potentially steal performance. but nothing helped yet. maybe its just my pc but its a fairly new one. anyway wish me luck guys ![]()

A 460 is enough for every game, if a Game runs on low FPS one of the settings is wrong or you have something liked Supersampling+AF etc on. You must be working some dark magic to be able to run 99.8% of ALL games on MAX with that card.

- Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind GOTY (Top 5 game of all time. Already had it on x-box, but worth getting on PC as well due to mods) - Bastion - Trine 2 (Seems really fun, loving the first hour of it at least) - Terraria (Played 5 mins and didn't understand anything tbh :D) - Crusader Kings II (For that supposedly awesome Game of Thrones mod) - Might & Magic Heroes 6 (Big fan of this series) - Orcs Must Die! - Portal 2 (Fantastic game) Hoping to get The Witcher 2 @ 75%, and ARMA II as well later for that Dayz mod. ![]()

your overpriced cards are the joke - not my 460 that maxes out every new release i've played this year. unless you like spending more money so you can leave a card stock (in which case you're lazy).

My experiences with Obsidian/past Fallout games have only been good, (I can see past bugs so long as they aren't completely gamebreaking) and it seemed like such a good deal for the amount of content. I'm hoping that Witcher 2 goes on daily deal or community choice since I missed the flash deal. The original Witcher and Arma II i'm on the fence about. Witcher seems to have mixed reviews across the board with a lot of people saying it's amazing and a lot of others saying it's a complete pain in the ass to play. There's no way i'm paying for Arma II at the price it is now. It's tempting to jump on the DayZ bandwagon but considering it's probably going to be released as a standalone game some time in the future, i'm wary of spending too much money on Arma at the moment. Aside from those games, I'm probably just going to wait until the last day and see if anything else eventually takes my fancy.

It's got a decent atmosphere, (but isn't particularly scary once you get used to the tricks the game plays on you). The gameplay is pretty fun, (third person shooter where you have to dismember enemies in order to kill them combined with certain puzzle sections). You'd probably benefit more from playing the first with regards to the story but I don't think that's a deal breaker. The game is more about the atmosphere than the actual story anyway, (which is basically a standard sci-fi affair involving alien artifacts). The single player lasts around 8-10 hours and there's a multiplayer mode which you might get a few hours out of. For the price, i'd say it's definitely worth it. You might be interested in playing the first beforehand though.
