Servers seem pretty stable as of late. I was getting disconnected pretty often at first, but it turns out my router was responsible. If you have a hardline from your modem straight into your computer, I find the lag non-existant on servers pinging at <60, with little hiccups on pings just under 100.
Your graphics card will determine the stutter of the game probably much more than your internet connection. If you've got the system for it, I'd say it's a must-buy kind of game.
My girlfriend bought a copy for herself on XBox... not nearly as beautiful as the PC version, that's for sure. She's still having mad fun with it though...

I have always hated Punkbuster and i will keep hating it. It's absolutely garbage, nothing but problems.

Having watched a few game-play videos, I don't see the big difference between this one and BF2 except the graphics and some destructive objects.
I recognize the same scenes as in BF2.

Am I the only one who made a conscious decision to go to all the "e-famous" call of duty 'stars' to see them get all mad at the game and say how terrible and skilless it is? Not going to lie, that was pretty fucking funny to do.

I love vehicle hunting too. Just need to fix the hit regs and you can actually run away from a tank fire or other fire. Nothing as painful as dying while you are already behind a object. Especially when someone is shooting you with a normal machine gun.
So many bugs though and it's fucking annoying. Lost around 12k of points because of random crashed (thanks Battlelog/origin..), all the players with flashlight on, punkbuster bugs/problems and a lot more..

I'm sorry your experience in bf3 as been shitty to date I haven't been effected by a bug yet and I'm enjoying my time a lot!

Well that sucks.
This morning my Battlefield decided that it wanted to let me play before the 28th release date, albeit with multiple crashes (probably played about 5 minutes our of 40). Decided to repair the game to try and fix the crashes, for the second time, and now it won't pass the release date checker.
