If you downloaded the game on a connection that disconnects randomly or has other problems. You should download the game again. I had this happen to me recently with Battlefield 3 and Deus Ex HR. My modem didn't quite support the cable connection I have, so it would disconnect a lot randomly. I downloaded these games on the bad connection. They crashed a ton. Deus Ex crashed every 15-20 minutes. We got a new modem and I redownloaded the games. I played another 6 hours of Deus EX without it crashing ever. BF3 works better too. Still problems. Skyrim is running great for me. It is so exciting to have a whole new bethesda world to explore. | ||

Thankfully the steam code worked and it is installing right now. Nerd map appears to be untouched as well so that's all right, I guess. Edit: Anyone else's install stop at 3949/5509MB ? Wtf I've been stuck here for like 10 minutes now... | ||

I tried a friend's disc, and I get the same error, so it's not just my disc. I tried my disc on a friend's xbox and it worked fine, so it seems to be an issue with the console? Other games work fine though. I can run any other game I own right now with no problem. It's ONLY Skyrim. What's going on? | ||
