I know I'm a bit late to the party for asking, but is the Paladin really better than the Carnifex for casters? You'd think it would be, but I kinda feel that the extra damage is not enough to balance out the increased weight (longer cooldowns) and low ammo capacity. Thoughts?

The paladin might be better at level 10, but a high level carnifex is infinitely better then a paladin 1.

True. If you have a high level carnifex stick with it. Personally I even use the phalanx with my asari adept because i rarely shoot anyways.

I'm not much a fan of fan-made trailers, but this one really stuck out. Perhaps it's just the two steps from hell epic track. Granted, it does contain a bulk of spoilerish cutscenes.

The Geth SMG is broken, broken, broken.
Just ripped through a Cerberus Gold run with it, no problem.
The lack of recoil and massive magazine is absurd, SMG sniping and taking out a third of an atlas's shield from long range.

I wouldn't say it's broken, It's probably one of the better automatic weapons, but it still does fuck all against armor.

It's perfectly serious, the singularity "theory" is quite common in literature. It's not realted to the mass effect ending at all though.

It can take out a third of an Atlas's shields on Gold from across the map in 7s.
It has a clip of 170, and fires exponentially faster, meaning that it can empty the whole clip insanely fast.
No recoil means that even phantoms and centurions die in about three seconds or less.

its semi related. the me universe has a lot of 'true' AIs that can adapt and learn etc. which is what he is talking about. i dont see how its directly related to the ending though.

Ok serious question, I just played a game where the others said in voice chat when we had cleared gold level 10 that we should all commit suicide. When I didn't they got really mad, so I was like, ok whatever, and I did and we lost? Is there something I'm missing, like you don't get any credits for wave 11 or what? :o
